Went there earlier this evening for the first time to have our dinner. We really enjoyed the atmosphere, very cozy little restaurant with beautiful details in their décor and cleanliness. Our waitress Emily was very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about the food in their menu. We ordered fresh roll as our appetizer and it was good. For our entrees we both ordered two different kind of curry, Red and Green curry, both of them tasted incredibly good. Since I love Thai food I like trying different kind of Thai curries in different Thai restaurants and this is by far the BEST curry I’ve ever had! It just has the perfect balance of the creamy texture of coconut milk broth in their curries, flavour and spiciness that I could have this at any time of any day! We had ice cream with fried banana and mango sticky pudding for our desserts and they both are awesome! Excellent food, friendly staff, definitely worth a drive for a visit. Very pleasant experience to dine in there and definitely would be back.

Such a gem located in downtown Spartanburg, SC. Excellent food, friendly staff and left feeling like I’d dined at a 5 star restaurant.

First time here. Pretty mediocre of an experience and wouldn’t be back Server and staff was friendly so that wasn’t an issue The restaurant has a damp smell to it… Reminds me of the inside of a building in south india. It does however have a nice décor. My girlfriend didn’t notice the smell however so it must be subtle. The food was pretty much«meh». I ordered the chicken Thai basil and was excited because it had snow peas. Unfortunately it arrived luke warm with no snow peas. The flavor was ok but at 50% more expensive than the other three Thai places in town it certainly doesn’t make me want to come back. My girlfriend made the mistake of ordering garlic tofu. It was garlic, green bell peppers and tofu. She should have read the menu closer as she was surprised that was all the $ 12.95 entrée consisted of, but sure enough that was what was written on the menu. It fell very flat. Sorry but will not be back. The other Thai places in Spartanburg are better.

Worst Thai food I’ve ever eaten. I literally got sick from eating here! All the food is soaked in some kind of jelly. The soups are aweful and taste like spoiled milk. Everthing is overpriced.

A bit pricey, but the Thai tea and chicken salad was great! Had the dumpling appetizer as well and was delicious.

Food Taste: Really good, not overpowering. Food Order: I ordered beef and broccoli, I was brought chicken and broccoli. My wife had the shrimp and snow peas. Waiter didn’t write down order which I guess it’s a fifty fifty chance of getting what you want. I didn’t say anything because I eat chicken too but, I ordered beef. Atmosphere was very nice, our first time there. The wrong plate brought to the table, I can get over. I have some trouble with other things. We went Feb. 13, we were sat next to the door, that’s not that big of a deal, it was cold but okay. When our food made it out it was presented very well. The way they carve the flowers out of the veggies is a very nice touch. The food however was very cool around the edges(both plates), the cold air coming in everytime the door opened only compounded this. The food piled in the center was warm, not hot, but a lot warmer than the edges. The real problem with this was that by the time we finished our plates all the food was cold. Not a big fan of cold food when I paid 30+ for cooked food. The other issue was when a couple that the staff knew came in, and it seemed as though at that time we were just part of the décor nobody seemed to notice until we started moving around. We will try again, the food taste and presentation carried you Lime Leaf.

Not sure why this place got good reviews… Ordered: Fresh rolls — which were wrapped in Saran Wrap, pre made, not fresh and no meat in them :/ Pad see ew — very dry, little taste, and noodles were cooked awhile ago. Pretty poor food in my opinion.

Ordered some of their most expensive dishes and was left underwhelmed. Their appetizers are okay, though. I recommend Thai Taste or even Monsoon over this place.

I heard good things but, it’s dark — portion size changes at lunch, dinner, is expensive, is close in inside, dark, feels upscale. I have ordered carry out from here. It was bland. I’d recommend Noodle House a few doors down the street.

Hot, fresh to table. Sit down to appetizer — soup and fried spring roll. Expanded lunch menu. Food quality good — Thai spicy is spicy but won’t send you into hysterics. Will visit again. Parking, 2 hour free curbside, catch as you can.

Four of us started with four appetizers. We got the edamame, summer rolls, spring rolls and lettuce wraps. The lettuce wraps filling didn’t look good but tasted delicious. The summer rolls came two to an order. We asked for a knife to cut them but it never came. We used a spoon. Not easy. The fried spring rolls came three to an order; I didn’t get one. The edamame were good. Our waiter was clearly not on it that night. He should have told us the number in the orders and suggested upping both rolls. When Our four appetizers were served; he did not bring plates. We waited looking at them for a long time until we got plates. Someone had to actually get up and say something. For my main I got the yellow curry with shrimp and potatoes. It didn’t look so appealing but tasted delicious. The shrimp was cooked to perfection. There were a lot of crunchy onions and soft potatoes too . For dessert we all spilt the fried banana and ice cream and the mango sticky pudding. The fried banana was good and had co but on it. Although no one liked the mango sticky pudding, I liked the large amount io fresh mango served with it. One friend commented that they clean he bathroom floor with bleach and he was impressed.

Great food! Excellent yellow curry pork, dumplings, edamame, and fresh rolls! Had a wasabi martini as well, delicious! Protip: Greenvillians can enjoy the same great food at koi off pelham, owned by the same company, and save yourself the drive!

Horrible experience. There is something with most of the restaurants downtown and smart ass wait staff. Also the food isn’t that great. Save yourself the frustration and avoid this place.

I was hungover and craving something asian, so I went here for lunch with not that great of expectations considering the location. I got the pad thai with the seafood(mussels, shrimp, and squid). The dish was not bad — it had flavor and it had a little kick, which was nice. The seafood in it was kind of meh. They are probably more of a three star restaurant, but they get an extra star for exceeding my expectations and fulfilling my craving. If you really want Thai, I’m guessing it is one of the better options in the area. Prices are reasonable.

Lime Leaf is really good. It was redecorated a few years ago and looks nice and upscale for essentially being a small downtown café. First of all, the front table overlooking the street is a great little private section, and our party of four was seated there. We enjoyed edamame, spring rolls, and other apps, along with some of the specialty cocktails. They are delicious, I had two. Apps were also good. For dinner, I got spicy fried rice with chicken and it was a nicely sized portion. Very tasty, too! Lots of flavor but not so hot as to be inedible. C got pineapple fried rice with raisins and peanuts, which was served in a whole, huge half pineapple. Yes! It was very good, too. Presentation made the food as fun to look at as to eat. Overall, a great place, near to other spots downtown where you can walk after or before dining, and we will be back.
