We stayed here for one night in a road trip. All the rooms face the lake and are in a one-story L-shaped building(like an old motel). It was clean and neat as a pin. The room was plain and maybe a little dated but it had Adirondack themed wallpaper and linens. This isn’t a resort and you’re not spending much time in the room so it doesn’t have to be fancy, just functional and clean. There is a large patio area by the lake for hanging out. We ate carry out from a local restaurant at sunset and it was great. There is also a gazebo and a fire pit with chairs. At 8pm the proprietor fires it up and supplies the makings for s’mores! Includes ample parking, free wifi, flat panel tvs with cable, refrigerator and microwave. Towels are small and bathrooms were a little cozy. All in all a Good experience, would stay again.

Right on the shore of Lake Pleasant, with a gazebo, Adirondack chairs and lawn area overlooking the beautiful lake. Rooms are modern, have a bit of a view, are clean, with pleasant woodsy décor, a microwave, fridge and small TV. A one story motel with parking outside your room, it’s my favorite type of stop-great location, solid rooms, quiet and helpful front desk, even if they didn’t have ice!

Stayed here recently. Beautiful location, beautiful surroundings and incredible views. Rooms were very, very clean. Customer service definitely needs improvement though. We booked this hotel specifically because it advertised air conditioning in the rooms. We get there(it’s 90 degrees), check into our room at 8 pm. The teeny a/c unit was not working. The manager told us to wait an hour or so and see what happens if it would get better. We sat outside for an hour plus. Still not working. We ask the manager to fix this situation. His reply was he could move us to another room for one night(it was booked the following night) or give us our money back. His response to give us our money back was so lame and ridiculous. It was 8 pm, the other 3 little hotels were all booked for the weekend(we checked) and the closest other hotels were more than an hour away. He could really care less that the a/c wasn’t working, had numerous excuses, said the housekeeping staff(his relatives I believe) should have turned the a/c unit on knowing we were checking in. Of course, they should have had the a/c unit on since it took 24 hours for that one to cool off even a little. We did move to the room with the a/c unit that did work for one night and then had to leave that room in the morning and put all of our stuff in the sweat box room for the next night. He did not bother to call anyone to look at the a/c unit or try and fix it or do anything. We made sure the unit was at least on when we left that morning and when we came back to our room early that evening, someone had gone in there and turned the unit completely off!!! The people running this place are very cheap, putting it nicely. The room we stayed in for one night where the a/c did work after numerous hours of being on, they had turned the refrigerator completely off(trying to save electricity???). It stunk so bad. We turned it on, but it didn’t get even slightly cold until we had to switch rooms in the morning. Useless to have a refrigerator if it’s been shut off! Please do not advertise air conditioning if you have units that are poor and inefficient. I asked him for at least a fan so that we could sleep somewhat comfortably. He, of course, had no fans. Really??? Bring your own towels please. Theirs are so tiny it’s ridiculous. We wasted unneeded, unnecessary hours, moving our stuff back and forth and trying ourselves to fix the broken a/c unit in our room and not being able to use a room that we paid good money for. All management had was excuses after excuses. No refund or even a partial refund was offered to us for our inconvenience. Management stinks! Plus their check out time is 10 am. Pretty ridiculous. He said it’s because of the housekeeping schedule(his relatives again) that check out has to be at 10 am. Really???
