Best carrot cake ever. There fish fry is one of the best I ever had. The fish was cooked perfectly.

My sister and I went there on a Fri nite for dinner. She had the best fish fry, the french fries were great, coleslaw great & clam chowder good. I had the beef tips & noodles and it was great too. I also opted for the clam chowder instead of a side salad. It came with rolls & butter too. Everyone was very nice and great service. The apple pie is made there & great too. After iced tea/​softdrinks and desert it was $ 30, which was a fair price. We plan to go back again soon and order the Hawaiian chicken and maybe the ribeye steak.

Arlington, VA
Went in for breakfast on a Thursday morning. Clean, comfortable, no frills, with a friendly staff. The coffee tasted fresh and the server kept the mug full. I ordered one of the specials: 2 eggs, hash browns, sausage patties, and rye toast. Tasted pretty good. Left with a full belly and spent only $ 3.99 plus tip. Count me as a satisfied customer.
I saw several pasta and seafood dinners on the menu. I’m curious to know how well a country restaurant does with fare like that.
