I was surprised when I heard my friend was having her baby shower and had no idea what to expect. I knew there was a petting area and a playground for kids but a place for a baby shower… but this place is huge. They actually have a few buildings and an open pavilion on the land. The shower was in a spacious room with lots of windows and a wrap around deck with beautiful views of the rolling hills in the Visitor Education Center. There was about eighty guests sitting comfortably at nine tables spread out in the room, with enough extra space for other tables including drinks, food and gifts. I loved the light color wood that is throughout the room, especially on the walls and ceiling really brightens up the room with all the sunlight coming in from the many windows. They have a private road that takes you directly to the education center, with their own mid size parking lot. They also have a few paring spots right up near the door as well as a place to drop off and pick up.

Can’t believe I never knew about this place. I took 3 young children there today and they loved it. Small playground, nice area to walk around and visit the different barns, we saw 2 goats born less than a week ago and a small petting are($ 1 per person). Spent more time than I expected to so we will have to go to the Visitor’s Center next time. I will also make sure to be there at 11:00 or 2:00 to see the cow milking.
