I LOVE this place. I live just a few miles down the road and try to test a new item each trip. I’ll give you the run down so far. The gelato is authentic and amazing. They have gourmet tamales and seriously every single one of the flavors is delish! Their breakfast muffins are fresh baked; the blueberry and lemon poppyseed are so good I haven’t ventured past them. I am not a big Starbucks gal but I have a feeling you can get anything they offer here! Today I tried the beef fajita burrito(not sure if that’s what it says on the menu as I had the hubby pick it up) and OMG the chipotle ranch is to die for. There isn’t anything for miles around that comes close to the quality and variety this place offers. I am going to continue my journey through their menu and in courage you to do the same!

Awesome! Owner of the shop just happened to be there when we showed up and didn’t plan on staying open. We were so hungry on our way to Krause with nothing good to eat in sight, ordered a coffee and he even made us two breakfast sandwiches, which was not on the menu at all. We got them to go and seriously, they were the BEST damn breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had. Wicked awesome experience, can’t wait to go back and try the lunch!

Totally worth a stop after visiting Spicewood Vineyards! This lil hole in the wall(blink and u miss it) café run by the very entertaining muti-national Marco has sandwich and pizza by the slice fare and coffee drinks + gelato. I had an amazing Cubano(the last time I had a Cubano made this well was in Puerto Rico!) and a Choc Almond biscotti. I chased it with a Topo Chico and after some lively banter and shazaming Hotel Bossa Nova off Marco’s Bluetooth speaker, I was on my way on 71 W looking forward to my next happenstance pitstop here!

Have been camping out at Krause Springs & discovered this place yesterday for coffee. Decided to come back this morning for more & to try the breakfast. Excellent with very rich flavor. I’m a Starbucks fan & regular, but I think both of the Americano coffees I had here are a bit better. Recommended if you’re out this way.

One of the best parts of traveling through small-town America is discovering awesome little shops like this. While camping at Pace Bend Park, I needed to find some free wi-fi for a few hours, and this place was the perfect spot. You’ll likely find yourself greeted by the owner, Marco, a hospitable Italian man who knows how to brew a mean espresso. You’ll catch a few European influences throughout the store, including gelato and a display case full of dainty little chocolates. The coffee was impeccable, but what really sold me on this place was the cozy seating in a slightly separated area, and plentiful outlets for me to plug into while using the free wi-fi. I didn’t try any of the food, but I caught a glimpse and whiff of the lentil soup — and seriously regretted not getting some. The shop owner and local regulars are very friendly to travelers. They were full of questions about my trip, and took a ‘break’ from the shop to come check out my van. If I ever return to this part of Texas, I’ll definitely be supporting this great local establishment.

Yes! They have a drive thru. Once you crack the code it’s easy. We hung out there the other evening and the owner Marco was a great host. The panini and gelato was fantasic and it’s a cozy atmosphere. A big plus for Spicewood. Oh yea. FREE wi-fi came in handy as well. If you have a sweet tooth or just want a quick buzz it’s a must.

Great little escape from Texas heat & campground life! Stopped in more then a few times during a recent trip to Krause Springs, chilled out over coffee & gelato and wifi, but what sold us was the FOOD! Got some delicious tamales, and then the owner whipped up some AWESOME breakfast tacos. You can tell he is really in to food & drink and knows what he is doing, so it’s amazing stuff in a non-pretentious atmosphere. Definitely worth stopping in, we were glad we did.

We heard about Bump N Grindz from an almost naked couple we met at Krause Springs… We were thirsty from a day in the sun and decided to check out the new coffee shop… This new coffee shop is as cute as can be but the service needs to be worked on. I will not go into detail because they are new and their product is spot on! Their gelato is amazing! We decided on Lemon and Salted Caramel and both were 5 stars! They are still cultivating their food menu but for now they are offering panini sandwiches in addition to gelato and coffee drinks. Check them out if you are in the area.

A breath of fresh air for cozy Spicewood! Newly-opened Bump n Grindz serves sensational espresso and delicious edibles(did someone say ‘gelato’?) with ample smiles. Local products enthusiastically sold! Already one of the hill country’s finest coffee houses.
