The first reviewer said it all. These soaps are plain out Grrreat! Not only are they beautiful to see, they are wonderful to use in the bathroom sink, powder room or shower. While you might think they are a bit expensive, the bars last a long time and never lose their scent or ability to cleanse. Just like Maxwell House coffee, these soaps are good to the last drop. Also they are great for special gifts for your favorite folk and the delivery service is easy and good. I highly recommend them to anyone for the ultimate soap experience. Lastly, Leta is charming and easy to work with if you need a special order. While I have never met her, it seems as if I’ve known her all of my life. And to let you know, I found these soaps in Hill Country when i visited a number of years ago.

Hill Country Haiku is a top artisinal soap shop. Leta does it best. Her soaps hold their scent indefinitely, come in wonderful scent combinations and beautiful patterns, don’t melt away fast in the shower, and do a good job keeping skin moisturized. For $ 6 a bar and lasting a good 2 – 3 weeks for two people, the price is right. We found Hill Country Haiku’s soaps in a small shop in Wimberley, Texas. But alas, we live nowhere near Wimberley or Spicewood where the soaps are made. Yay for a website with easy online ordering! The soaps are packed well, each wrapped carefully in colored tissue paper, and a hand-written thank you note is included. There hasn’t been a Hill Country Haiku soap that my husband and I didn’t enjoy. I particularly like the two honey soaps, the Seaweed Spa Bar, and the Lukenbach Lavender. We give their soaps away as gifts regularly, and everyone has been pleased.
