CenturyLink – Spokane

If you want great streaming with very limited connectivity issues, up to date account and billing access online, intelligent customer service who don’t try to sell you a featured special while you’re trying to find out why your account hasn’t been updated since Dec 15, 2015 then don’t waste your time with Centurylink! I kid you not, I hadn’t received a bill since 12/​15/​2015 (which I paid as usual) when suddenly I receive a disconnection notice! I called the «customer service line» at least twice a month since January and got the clueless individual telling me my account was paid up. Well no sh#t! She/​he was looking at the still outdated online account which, to this day, still reflects Dec 15^th! Oh and don’t expect to have the online ability to update your contact information, paperless preference or anything else for that matter because the Centurylink website is in a perpetual state of «temporarily unavailable» for these services and have been for the past 4 months. I’m done with this waste of money/​time and truly hope others don’t take a chance with such a dysfunctional internet provider.

Just the absolute worst. Never expect to be on the phone with them for less than 45 minutes. Do not expect connectivity issues to be resolved with one tech visit. DO expect frequent connectivity issues. Never expect knowledgeable, polite, or personable technicians. Never expect them to waive their technician fee when the fault solely lies on the company; I had to fight for this one (see Sentence 2). Lastly, ensure you get a loudspeaker attachment for your phone along with an interpreter if you ever need to call them.
One positive-​their hold music is dope.

Better Tech and Customer service than any of the rest, especially Comcast.
Speeds are not the best, but much better than before, and only slightly slower than the competition, this will not be noticeable by most users.
Service in the North Spokane County area is a nice refresh from a few years ago, although internet has been known to fluctuate and/​or disconnect on average of once a month.

A bunch of morons. Talked to Mia and she «set up my account», gave me all my information, told me to swing by to get my modem, gave me an estimate, and took all my information including my SSN. When I came in Rick said he didn’t have any information on me but when he looked up my address said that the technician is going to bring a modem with him.
The next day I sat for 4 hours waiting during the slot they gave me for installation. I waited 4 hours and then when I called them the account number and order number they gave me didn’t register and all the information they had taken was lost. They then told me I would have to wait 2 weeks before I could get the Internet installed. And even better they said the price they originally quoted me is wrong and that I would be paying $ 20 more per month than what they said. I honestly have no idea how anyone can screw something up as badly as these guys did. My hats off to you because I’ve seen a lot of screw ups but this one takes the cake as the absolute dumbest. If anything happens to me because they lost my SSN you better believe I am going to wring them dry with a lawsuit.
