The power button broke on my Lenovo laptop and at 5:45 PM the guys at The Geek Squad recommend Recycle Techs. I call and we as at their Valley store right at closing. John was already working on the replacement part and had me in and out in 5 min. I can’t tell you how much of a lifesaver it was. I’m a traveling sales rep and Fridays are my busiest day for work. I will recommend these guys to everyone. They also recycle and all of their materials stay in Washington! Great service!

Went in just to poke around. The markups were insane, almost 2 times what you could pay online for the exact same new parts. When I asked the clerk he explained that that was so the merchandise would seem better or, «if the price is low people don’t think it’s worth much.» That seems pretty sneaky to me, how many people showing up know they can get stuff shipped for so much less? He also implied that they order parts in off newegg themselves, so much for a «recycled parts store.»

They are wonderful. Eric was amazing. He gave me so many helpful hints with my computer. My computer was back in 24 hours. I always buy the extended warranty at Best Buys. My repair takes 3 weeks at Best Buys and when my warranty expires they say virus removal is $ 199 at Best Buy. Recycle Tech $ 60 – 80 for virus removal on my computer.

Over the last 2 years or so I have brought several different laptops into the North Side store (the one on Nevada St.). We have always gotten excellent service at Recycle Tech, and at a very good price. The repair tech, Hugh, has always kept to the scheduled delivery date and usually comes in under budget! On our most recent visit, we brought in 3 laptops. One for a damaged keyboard, one for a damaged LCD screen, and one for a new hard drive. What can I say, my kids are hard on electronics!
They really know what they are doing, are excellent at diagnosing to problems, and have the skills to fix them right the first time. I would not hesitate for a second to recommend them to anyone!

The first time I bought a desktop from them, and the monitor did not work. They were willing to give me an exchange and if that was the only thing, I’d rate them well. I later bought an external hard-​drive to backup my laptop. For some reason, the laptop got wiped clean after doing so and now I can no longer download anything. When I called them, politely asking about what I could do, the man was very short with me and rude. Buy at your own risk.
