Lovely but staff needs to be better informed on wines. While very friendly, we were guiding much of the flights. The property is worth the drive to this beautiful winery atop a hill with expansive views. Much of the winery and residence has been renovated and the attention to detail is good. Parking is excellent and events are frequently booked here, so call before heading over.

Beautiful gardens, views but let’s be honest, it has to be about the wine. If you’re a wine taster, wine drinker or even a casual wine consumer, you’ll discover soon enough the wine here is mediocre at best. It’s also completely over-priced for tastings and individual glasses of wine. And seriously, wine served in a plastic glass?! Who does that? Again, if you’re someone who enjoys serious wine tasting, this is definitely not the place for you.

Came to check out the big dog. Too bad we were met outside and told the tulips were already gone. We were also told that anyone under 21 was not allowed on the property and we would need to come back without her. I received a card for a complimentary tasting another time and was told to «enjoy taking pictures on my way out.» While we were getting in our car, another family with a 1 month old had also been told the same thing. I am not impressed and will NOT be recommending this place to anyone else!

This is one of the most beautiful places I’ve been to in the area. The amazing gardens are eclipsed only by the expansive views. We visited on a warm Friday evening, and it felt like near-perfection. Even better, the wine is reasonably priced. If you are a member of their club, it is even more reasonably priced. We went with a bottle of the signature white blend, which was slightly more sweet than I might have liked(but I like absolutely no sweetness in my wine), but it was still great on a warm evening. One thing I particularly love is that you can buy a bottle or glass and wander the grounds. I can’t wait to come back with a blanket and a picnic. We will be back many times, I am sure!

What a lovely place and thanks to Angie for sharing her wine tasting tips. Grapes come from the Columbia Valley and have produced some excellent wine. We really enjoyed the Sauv Blanc, Blush and Avinsino and have taken a few bottles back to Canada. Beautiful grounds, only wish we could have had the children up to the venue but we worked around it. Thanks again.

If you are craving that European vacation feeling on a Spokane budget you can’t go wrong with Arbor Crest Winery. It’s at its most charming on a warm summer night during a concert series(Thursday & Saturday). Nestled up on a hill, surrounded by vines… where am I again? The concerts are 21+ and you really should bring a few lawn chairs or at least a cozy picnic blanket. My favorite times up here have included jazz, picnics, and a few hilarious friends. They have a 5,000 sq foot tent available for weddings or private events and it seems like prime wedding weekends book up fast.

I’m sorry to say that I wouldn’t even give this place one star if I could draft a review without one. We walked in, weren’t greeted, took $ 60 I’m merchandise up to the counter and asked to taste some wine. We were told(very snottily, BTW) that it was $ 5 whether we bought anything or not and were ignored except when ahe had to come back and give us another sample. This girl was obviously related to someone or would have been fired by now. I won’t go back and it’s a shame, sure it could have been a very different experience.

Arbor Crest is a great site and so much appreciate the effort other then two things. Please let some one else handle the music venues for Sundays need some new blood and improve on the quality of wine. The prices are reasonable but its time to step it up on the quality. On another not the staff is over all very good. especially in parking lot. Great bunch of kids.

Arbor Crest is a nice place to have some wine tasting with friends. The cellar overlooks Spokane and the valley and is located at the place where the first chairlift was invented. The views are spectacular, but the wine leaves something to be desired. However, the wine tasting is a good deal – its only $ 5 for five tastings. If you’re looking for a nice place with family or friends I would recommend Arbor Crest so long as they don’t have an experienced wine palate.

Arbor Crest uses their Sunday concerts to dispose of overly sedimented red table wine. Bought two bottles last Sunday and both were disgustingly filled with sediment. Nice. Stay classy, Arbor Crest. Smuggle good wine in if you go.

I got married here a little over a year ago. Their wines are excellent! The lady who helped coordinate the wedding was also very attentive and knowledgeable. They even gave me suggestions of «recommended vendors», all of which were excellent except for the photographer. I recommend«You Do DJ», «Just Roses», «Happy Cake Co», and«Catered for You». The food was especially amazing! We were married in the Enchanted Forest and had our reception in the tent house. If I could do it again, I would have preferred the reception elsewhere, simply because it was VERY warm in the tent. The bride’s dressing area was on the THIRDFLOOR of the cliff house, which is beautiful, but not air conditioned. And, who wants to cart all their stuff up to the third floor? Otherwise, this was the most beautiful place I found to have our wedding. Staff was excellent, wines were tasty, grounds were well maintained, and there is no shortage of beautiful surroundings and backdrops for photos.

Not much to do in Spokane so you might as well go wine tasting, right? I found this place on my Unilocal app and took the drive. It was 5 minutes from downtown Spokane. I’ve seen the wine around Seattle but never tried it before. The grounds are very pretty so that was a nice surprise and the staff was very friendly. I liked the Riesling the best and thought the chardonnay was also very good. I don’t get to Spokane often but would purchase Arbor Crest wine if I see it around Seattle again.

Totally worth the short drive out to this gorgeous spot. Reasonably priced & delicious wine, picnic supplies to enjoy while having a glass of wine & a GIANTCHECKERBOARD. It doesn’t get any better than this. The views of the valley & city from are stunning. Can hardly wait to come up with an excuse to go back again.

Arbor Crest is another one of my top fave wineries in the Spokane area. This one is in the valley so it’s a bit of a drive from downtown but well worth a visit. It’s located on top of a hill overlooking the Spokane Valley. In the Summer they have a festival there. All the wines are top-notch. I’m especially fond of the Single Reserve Cab’s and the Dionysus blend. They were originally known for their whites, one of which is only $ 11 and is very tasty.

Great view, and that’s the best part. I happened to be in Spokane over barrel tasting weekend, so I definitely wanted to try out the wine tasting scene. Arbor Crest is gorgeous. Matt and I loved the big giant checkerboard that we took advantage of by playing for a few minutes. As far as the wine goes, I was not blown away. We were poured wines in plastic cups and since it was so crowded, I didn’t really get to ask questions about the wines. The taste of them didn’t leave me thinking… I want more. Although I did like barrel taste of the malbec, it wasn’t enough to make me buy anything. Next time Arbor Crest, uses glasses! I know it’s busy, but it makes a difference.

If you are into wines and even if you aren’t I would recommend a visit. The house is located on top of a hill near the Spokane Valley, so make sure you have directions before trying to find it. Arbor Crest was originally built in 1924 and used as a residence by Royal Riblet a chairlift manufacturer. He actually built a tram that would carry people from the valley below up to the estate. The employees are more than happy to talk about the history of the place. During the summer months the place is regularly booked for weddings and events, and when you arrive it’s easy to see why. The place has a fantastic view. The staff is friendly, providing wine tastings for the visitors, and the wine isn’t too bad either. I definitely walked away with a bottle.
