Can I give 10 stars?! Dave Ainley Photography did our wedding photos and a quick family Easter shoot for us. Dave is an artist! He has an eye photography that I haven’t seen from anyone else in the area. His ideas are interesting and fresh and completely outside the box. Which is so rare these days with everyone taking ideas from Pinterest boards and you can’t throw a stone without hitting someone who has a trial of photoshop and an expensive camera callings themselves a «photographer». Anyway, we love Dave and his work and can’t wait to have more photos taken. We have had several of our photos enlarged and have them hanging in our home as art. Everyone who comes over complements our gorgeous photographs.

Dave is an amazing photographer. His photos are top notch. And he is very passionate about what he does. My fiancé and I booked him and we live across the state. That’s how much we loved his work. We traveled to Spokane for an engagement session and Dave was VERY patient and kind while working with my fiancé and I who were both more than a bit nervous to get photos taken as we had not really done it before. His Goal was always to put our comfort first and he wanted to make sure we felt like ourselves in the photos. He is amazing at capturing true moments and emotions.
Also he has amazing customer service skills and was willing to work faster for us since we live so far away.
We highly recommend him and are excited for him to travel to outside to shoot our wedding at Port Gamble.

Dave and Jill are truly amazing at what they do. Anyone can take a photo, but it takes true talent to get the quality of photos that they deliver. And their talents do not stop with the amazing photos either (as if that would not be enough), they have an unmatched way of putting people who may be camera shy at ease and are hilarious to boot. The photos we received and the atmosphere they create is worth every penny and more of Dave’s reasonable prices. My husband and I could not of been happier with the entire experience and with our wedding and engagement photos. I can not thank them enough. Highly recommend using them for any occasion or photo need!

Dave is a great photographer to work with! I worked with him a while ago for a movie poster as a model. We met at a local coffee café, which was fantastic to begin with, but Dave even bought me a coffee! What a sweet guy! Anyways, we conversed for a bit and another model was there too. A great time was had. Fast forward to the shoot: While shooting, Dave presented enthusiastic energy, comedic relief, and just a great time in general. His photography has a unique style that isn’t copied by anyone else, which provides great images that no one else will have! Cookie cutter, boring images are not found with him, that is for sure! He is definitely worth the money (which, by the way, he offers great pricing!).

If you are looking for a unique fun experience with a great guy, Dave is your man. A bit eccentric, yes, but most great artists are. If you want to have amazing artistic photos that no one else can create, go with Dave.

Mr. Ainley did not provide us with the quality of pictures that we were hoping for. We paid him $ 380.45 for 37 pictures, in which our opinion, were not good. There was only 1 photo I liked and my fiancé liked a few more than me. He told us the photos were not edited and had my fiancé pick out some pictures he should edit. It took approx him 1 hour to edit 2 photos. He then stated, to edit the rest it would be $ 60/​hour. Mr. Ainley in our opinion was unprofessional and unprepared during the whole photo session. He drank during the job and then proceeded to tell my fiancé and I he was tipsy. My fiancé and I are not from Spokane, so we know nothing of the area. But yet, we felt as if Mr. Ainley put pressure on my fiancé and I to pick places to shoot, even though he has shot in Spokane many times. He brought his family to an appointment and spent more time taking care of his child then talking to my fiancé about the photos. He is convinced he did an amazing job and thinks we need to «sit on it» for awhile until we like them. We felt he was very happy to have more pictures to add to his portfolio than he was trying to fix the situation. When we asked for our refund and told him he could have everything back, he said he didn’t have the money to give us, seeing he just paid his bills and still has rent to pay. Then he told us he would talk to his wife about the refund. He called back and stated that there was a «no refund» policy. We never heard of this before. In fact, he never gave us a contract or a verbal contract at all. Now, there are all these «hidden costs» that he «overlooked» for us and in our opinion is trying to cover up for the poor job he did. Again, remember. This is all our opinion.
