So I went in yesterday for a backpack for work. found it and bought it up stairs. I didn’t see the need to bag it as its a backpack, and I was going to use it. but leaving was not an easy I’m headed for door, an old lady shouts«were you goin to pay for that bag?!» So dam imbarrassing! I told her I payed up stairs. she then says«do u have a receipt?» I asked her is that ur policy for customers to show it?.She doesn’t answer and laughs and says«well, we have alot of people that come in here and steal». I said people that look like me? She didn’t press the matter, but I decided to show her my receipt anyway, just to show her that not All minorities steal and to show everyone else watching I DIDNTSTEAL. I left and felt bad, hurt and most imbarrassing. people saw this happen. I shop there regularly too. I’m not a thief and wasn’t raised that way. yet it’s OK for people to asume I am, based on the way I look. I just needed a bag for my first day of work. so thanks for Makin my day even less stressful Fred myer. I expect this from walmart, not you guys. you have cameras and loss prevention, if they were doin there job right, you would know I PAYED. I go there to shop, not be harassed. TREATINGYOURCUSTOMERSTHESAMEWAYYOUTREATYOUR«THEFT» PROBLEM, ISBADFORBUSINESS… Mam, word of advice, the next time I pass you, the only thing you should say to me is «Thank you for shopping at fred myers». I’M A PERSON, A HUMANLIKEYOU.

Fred Meyer is a one stop shop grocery store and more. They have outdoor supplies, kitchen supplies and even furniture. If your looking to spend more than the average grocery store then this is the place for you. I do enjoy Fred Meyer because I can deposit my bank checks at the Chase bank located directly inside the store. The pricing is what brings this Unilocal rating down to a 3 star. Everything is more expensive then any other grocery store but it is convenient to get all your shopping done in one place!

I always enjoy shopping here I much prefer shopping at Fred Meyers over Safeway. One thing that I always enjoy shopping for is in there organic food section. They have a lot of good foods and I especially like their organic dairy selections and yogurts. I have always found that the cashiers are willing to help check people out and answer any questions. When they are not busy day will come out into the store and look for people or longer lines. It seems like they are more genuine than the times when I have gone to Safeway.

This place is weird and cool. Weird because not only can you get your grocery needs but you can buy clothes and your electronic needs and cool because not only can you get your grocery needs but you can buy clothes and your electronic needs. Lol. You think the store looks big from the outside, go inside. Quite huge. They have a Starbucks all the way on the left hand side as well as a chase branch inside. Plenty of parking and a gas station across the street. They have a lot in one location. A fine place to buy.

Huge store! Friendliest staff! Jeff had my held patio set ready for pick-up as promised. Questions about where to find groceries in two different locations were promptly answered and even shown where product was. Be sure to check into the natural goods freezer section to find Rudi’s Spinach gluten free tortillas and a variety of So Delicious coconut milk frozen dessert. This store has a great selection of gluten free foods and much more items on their natural foods department shelves than what is found at the North Spokane store, where I usually shop when going to Fred Meyers. Will try to come back this coming weekend to their grand reopening celebration!

I’m a fan of Fred Meyer and shop when ever I can. I take advantage of the gas discounts in my RV. This review will pertain to how well an RV can maneuver here. The gas station was pretty easy to get into. However, exiting the gas station is precarious, because you are stuck navigating a bunch of one way streets that may not go the direction you need. Also, this Fred Meyer is located basically in a residential section. There are a few businesses, but the area is primarily residential, so in order to get back on the freeway, you have to navigate the one way streets, plus the narrow residential streets. Ugh. The gas station is across the street from the store. As for the store. If the store is not busy, there is room to park the RV. But, this is an extremely busy store. Parking lot is generally full of cars. Good luck.

The grocery store side is more clean and pleasant to be in than the Safeway by my house. Normal prices are a little more expensive, but sale prices are great. I was happily surprised by the selection of their health foods. Fresh fruits and veggies are very well displayed. This store is also nicer than a Wal Mart and comparable to a nice Target. I might start doing my last minute grocery shopping here!

Excellent variety of meats and seafood! Fruit and veggies are always in good condition and the variety of specialty needs, such as, gluten free and vegetarian, are wonderful!

Best place to: 1) pickup a discount bag of end-of-day baked goods. 2) find frozen whole sockeye or coho when fresh isn’t in season anymore ~$ 5.99/lb Used to purchase their frozen cod and snow crab as the prices were good, but go tired of paying for water weight and overly-salted crab(fault with the processor, but Fred Meyer should find a different supplier)

Great place to shop and work. Employees get benefits at 20hrs/week which is unheard of. They do a great job of promoting from within and paying a living wage, and the managers really do care about keeping the store in tip top shape and building long term working relationships with customers and employees. The Thor store is great! The selection is unbeatable. It was my first time going to a 2-story grocery store, and I loved that it has everything I need, down to getting clothes, gardening supplies, electronics, and seasonal stuff. Even their jewelry store is great! And your friends can drop their kids off in the day care center while they shop!

Fred Meyer is pretty much the only place I ever shop for anything. They have the some of the best prices on things and their staff is always willing to go out of their way to help if you need it. Although sometimes their customer service is not the best but when that happens I go to another Fred Meyer and shop. Keep up the great work Fred Meyer!

Good selection, decent prices, and nice customer service. Howvever, they have a horrible parking lot & layout of store. Tiny aisles and they continue to make them smaller by putting up all those displays in the middle or along the edges of the aisles. can be very frustrating when busy.

Chain stores aren’t all that bad. I kept on seeing the ad that Fred Meyer fired someone, oh well. That actually made want to stop by and see what the fuss is all about. I couldn’t believe my eyes, that place has everything. Groceries, jewelry, electronics, clothing, anything you could possible need in your home.

I did a bad, bad thing. I sold out. I can’t help it — Fred tempted me so. Um, Fred Meyer that is. I try to not shop large chains, but sometimes you just can’t help but get seduced by the HUGE selection! The endless rows of stuff that you just must have! The wide aisles and shiny, shiny, SHINY linoleum! I went to Fred’s to buy my nephew some toy cars. Unfortunately, Hot Wheels seems to only produce race cars nowadays(he really wanted a police car — the kid’s totally into emergency services currently). However, I did find the entire line of cars from the movie«Cars» — even the oh so elusive Fire Truck! Woo-Hoo! AND a Dora the Explorer bathtub set for my niece. Who’s the kickass Auntie now? Excellent toy department with a large variety of toys for kids big and small. Lots of board and card games for the whole family. Reasonably good DVD selection. Friendly cashiers. Lots of parking. I think Fred and I will be FWB.
