I went there for lunch yesterday. Food was okay, nothing amazed me. In my Opinion, price is high for this taste. Will come back again when I crave for buffet.

Been here a few times with the family over the years. Food was always good with a wide array of choices. Waitresses/Waiters are always friendly, helpful and happy. Four out of five stars in regards to cleanliness, four out of five for food quality. Good place to bring a large group of people and still stay under budget.

Decided to take the family to GC, and we thought yeah good food. Wrong, the steak was salty as hell, the shrimp was greasy. My daughter took a bite bite and spit it out. I decided to try a bite and did the same thing. Let’s not mention the after taste while drinking Pepsi to wash the awful violation from my mouth. On to the steak, I’m not sure if the cook knew what he was doing but when someone asks for WELLDONE, you don’t serve them med rare. Three times asked for well done got med rare. The service was horrible. Our sever knocked over my wife’s drink, at least she apologized but we were left almost 40 min no refils. Attempting not to regurgitate the violation I just ingested I feel like this places blows. And would not recommend it.

Not having a all you can eat buffet except for the Chinese places in our town, we try to get to the Golden Corral when we are close. Prices for kids were great as they dont always eat alot. food was fresh and being rotated properly. All 4 of us had a great time here. This location appears to be full all the time might need a addition to add more seating. only spot that needed help was the dessert section one person trying to man that station was slow people who want ice cream scooped vs the i want cotton candy people. Watching this for 10 minutes a manager type jumped in to lend a hand and helped get the line down.

Food is great if you don’t mind spending an arm and a leg. We have been here before and the price was decent but came here for dinner tonight and it increased by about $ 20 for my family of 5(2 adults and 3 children) I asked the lady behind the register and was told«it’s like this every weekend in February» I am not sure what the deal is but $ 65 for my family of 5 at a restaurant where you have to get your own food is ridiculous. Next time we will go to Red Robin and spend less! Other than the price, everything else was fine. Clean bathroom, nice staff. I just wish the owner would stop charging adults $ 20 for dinner and a drink!

Horrible, there has got to be a timely and better way too transition the food out on the line freshly, up to date or even when pans are empty! The only thing that is good, is whatever is fried, frozen or even melted(sauce). The entire line is disappointing. The resturaunt needs better staff, there was only one person enthusiastic enough to get us extra napkins and refills after waiting for our original waiter. I love buffets when done right, hygienic and with a smile. What happened? I went there when I was younger, it was hospitality and quality control that I remember. That is nonexistent.

It would be nice if the cotton candy was continuously stocked so that children don’t have to wait around

Really nothing amazing to say about it. it was pretty busy during lunch and it was clean inside but the food was just basic, it was good but not great. You have to really watch what you get just to make sure that it does not look cold or thats its been sitting there for a while and looks bland. I could not find any cheescake at the dessert bar! what the heck thats a staple dish. maybe i was there at a bad day or time.

This is the worst Golden Golden Corral our family has experienced. Their food was cold, bland and some dishes were to salty. The fact that parents let their little kids get their food is disgusting. Kids were running around and mixing food together. Their employees were very rude to our family and the couple in front of us. Over priced food for their low quality of food. Only plus, we didn’t get food poisoning!

It’s relatively inexpensive but it needs some work, the staff was friendly once we were seated. The issue is the food really, steak for example is ok if you can get one. Saturday night and they were cooking 10 steaks at a time. These are 5 oz steaks and you get one per person. Problem is you go up to get one and there is 10 fresh ones on the grill which will be ready in 15 minutes. Until then there’s no steaks and everyone is going to try and grab one of those ten. Miss out and your waiting another 15 minutes. The French toast was luke warm at best and so was the popcorn shrimp. The pot roast on the other hand was pretty good Judy trim the fat off yourself. They did have a good variety of food and our kids liked the chocolate fondue fountain.

Although I am not a fan of troff style dining, my kids love them! Were else can you choose sixteen different kinds of dessert, a slice of cheese pizza and all the mac and cheese you can eat? ! They did have a very fresh salad bar, and the Mexi section was cool to create your own mess of taco meat, cheese & guacamole. Kiss loved the chocolate fountain to dip marshmallows(yes people, sugar on sugar on sugar!) The service was great and they took away our used plates etc promptly.

Food was what you get at any buffet… nothing special. Salad and desserts were ok. I think there is a special price if you go between 1:30 abd 4:00.

Tommy makes us feel welcome and Mike does a GREAT job with our steaks. In fact, when Mike is not working the meat station the quality REALLY suffers. Example: When Mike is NOT working the meat station and we ask for rare steaks WAYTOOOFTEN we get well done tough to chew steaks. When Mike is working the meat station that NEVER happens. This isn’t to say that we never get tough steaks when Mike is working because the quality of the meat is beyond his control but what we do get, tough or tender, are properly cooked rare steaks, which is within his control. We also like the no sugar peanut butter ice cream. These two menu offerings are what keep us coming back: The steak(as cooked by Mike) and the no sugar peanut butter ice cream. Bottom line: I’ve been eating here for more than 15 years and have seen many changes in both menu and staff. One staff member was so rude(she gave me hell for giving my wife a drink of my beverage, which I had paid for) that I stayed away for a couple of years. But, she is gone and now we are back. And to avoid any potential similar problems, I no longer buy a beverage. Why tempt fate?

The food is meh. Nothing to write home about. Lots of fillers like bread and potatoes. The chocolate fountain is just gross in my opinion. Thin and tasteless chocolate and the other desserts aren’t much to get excited about either. This place reminds me of a community feeding trough. Its okay to bring the family to but a little pricey for the quality of food.

The seating here leaves much to be desired. You’re within smelling distance of pretty much everyone around you. Barely any walking room, and it’s hard to eat feeling like you’re in a sardine can. How anyone can enjoy this atmosphere is beyond me. The food can be absolutely hit and miss, one time something will be good and the next it’ll be awful. Ugh. The best thing there is their chocolate chip cookies, but it isn’t worth the headache, smells, cramped environment, and noise pollution just to get them. One just opened up here in CDA and I am not sure I will ever go there, if it’s anything as busy as the one in Spokane, I will have to pass!

The food was pretty much tasteless. I tried a lot of things here and actually liked the cooked spinach the best. Even the deserts could not entice any of us. We took a bite or two then left the rest of almost everything we got. I will never go back again.

Ah, if Wal-Mart were to open a restaurant, it would be the Golden Corral of Spokane. I always feel a bit bad when I get snarky with one of my reviews, but this place gets both barrels from me. As I entered the door, I was met with the aroma of delicious food. I had just gotten done at the local urgent care giving copious amounts of blood and needed to eat. I paid for my drink and meal, made my way to my seat and grabbed my «Faux Fiesta» colored plate. Now close your eyes and think of the most horrendous experience you’ve had at Wal-Mart, but just incorporate food. Waves of children of all ages throwing fits, lost old ladies wondering aimlessly, the cellphone talkers, and don’t forget the legions of overweight people in their Hover-round scooters. Oh, and if I heard«CHOCOLATEWONDERFALL» one more time, I would have walked out. What made my visit even worse was my server insisting that she clean the windowblinds DIRECTLY behind my seat. I mean seriously, who does this crap? At least wait for a person to leave before you start aggressively powerscrubbing the blinds and knocking dust into a guys food. I gave this place 2 stars only because the food was actually good and fair priced. Maybe I was just in a bad mood when I visited there, who knows. I just know that I will be popping a few Valium before I have to visit there again.

For a cheap buffet it’s hard to wrong with the Golden Corral. Price is right(under $ 11 for adults). Soda costs an additional $ 2. Choices are pretty plentiful. Food was always warm. Service was friendly. Much better experience than Home Town or Timbercreek(Spokane Valley). Overall taste was just OK. Hard to complain though given the price. All in all, the Golden Corral is the best general buffet in Spokane. Even though we live much closer to Timbercreek, this is our preferred buffet destination.

I was drug here against my will. I went with my new wife to meet her grandmother for lunch, and her grandmother picked this place. So we went. Ugh. I hate Golden Corrals. I mean, they have a nice variety of food. But all of it is worse than what you would find at an average restaurant. The salad bar is marginal at best, but all the dressings are really heavy and overly caloric. The fountains are disgusting on principle, as I don’t trust them with unsupervised children abounding. Things I hate about the chain: — I usually don’t carry cash. The fact that I have to pay up front, then rely on a waiter, means I can’t actually tip for service unless I happen to luck out and have cash on me. — I have to rely on a waiter for drinks. Both my wife and I drink fast. And they’re never fast. It sucks. — The chocolate(et al) fountains. When kids are allowed. ‘Nuff said.

Love this place been a ton of times just wanted to give a good review after all the bad ones. Steak is very improved and best you will find on a buffet. Bread and Rolls fresh in house. Huge variety of everything and they serve Pepsi. Had a women screaming at her kids right behind me and I still gave it a 5 star thats how good the grub is.
