Kizuri is an outstanding fair trade gift shop. I regularly seek out fair trade shopping experiences and this is the best I have been to ANYWHERE. My favorite items they carry are the recycled sari blankets, the fun jewelry, the market baskets, and the recycled glassware. Great place for gift shopping, browsing, and stocking up for your ethical home. Cheers to Kim for running a great business that empowers the people that make their products.

This is kind of a cool little gift shop with mostly international style gifts and some clothes. If you are looking for a gift that is a little different this may be a good place to stop. We found some great Christmas stocking stuffers here as well as ideas for future birthday gifts. Maybe we can fit in a gift for our home as well when we’re not looking for others… The staff was very friendly.

Small Business Saturday brought us here and their Festival of Fair Trade kept us browsing! Kizuri’s motto of «…fair trade, earth friendly or local…» underlies all the products sold in their shop. Their wares are not just there for the bottom dollar but supports social conscience. Heather, of Bella Cova, suggested we take a look here as we went about our Shop Small Saturday. The shop is open all year but what we encountered coming in the main doors today was an entire building worth of merchandise. We walked into the Festival of Fair Trade, an annual event held in the Community Building that Kizuri is located inside. One of the venders was sharing that they normally only work through the wholesale market but come here once a year, during Thanksgiving weekend, to sell to the general public. We found incredible prices for unique hand crafted wool hats, scarves, jewelry, woodcrafts, boiled wool slippers and lots more! We’ll definitely mark our calendar for next year’s Festival. Kizuri will be here and available in the mean time. Your purchases benefit Fair Trade, the environment, and local crafters.

What a great place to shop for a gift that I can feel good about giving. I like knowing that I am supporting fair trade, earth-friendly, and/or local artisans. The items here are so unique and there’s a wide range of items to choose from, such as from soaps, to stationery, to clothing and accessories, to tableware, to framed artwork. Plus, I found their prices to be very reasonable. I found the staff there to be very helpful and friendly without being pushy. Highly recommend.

This shop has a really cute, ecclectic assortment of housewares and décor. They also sell soaps and scarves. Their products are unique. I am planning to go back and really spend some time in there. It’s a great place for gifts!

Such a beautiful shop. I wish I had more time to wander through here. I purchased a sweet hand felted bowl made in Nepal for only $ 5.00 I can’t wait to go back to find some more goodies from around the World. The lady working there was very friendly.
