I have nothing bad to say about this place, I was treated like royalty. Not a single bite went to waste. I would gladly recommend this establishment to anyone anytime. I will return.

Look out for this place, I promise it IS open! Went for lunch service and had a great time! $ 20 for a 5 course meal. Lentil soup, delicious hummus(had a tasty cucumber/tomato/vinegar blend, pastry with eggs/chicken/cinnamon(I don’t know why that was delicious but it was, entrée — I chose lamb and eggplant(lots of different choices, and then ended with baklava for dessert. The food was all delicious! Its a really authentic, worldly experience right here in Spokane. The owner/waiter/chef is a friendly, talkative, and funny guy. Seating is lower to the ground than you’d be used to at any standard American restaurant which I thought was comfortable. The fella even brought out water to wash hands before/after eating — be prepared to eat most of the dishes with your digits! Only reason I’m giving a 4 instead of 5 is because the front door was locked when we arrived during their posted hours — luckily there was another pair there and the owner noticed us and served us a great meal. Also we did get charged for delicious tea that I assumed was part of the experience. Still, these things are only a small peace to a fun, and unique experience!

I found the atmosphere delightful and the only person serving us was funny and quirky. The food was absolutely delicious. Although everything was tasty, the hummus course really stood out for me. The marinated tomatoes and cucumbers really set of the hummus and bread. I could not recommend going to this place more.

What just happened? Just spent $ 50 on the worst all around experience I have ever been through in a restaurant. Hopefully, if you go here, you have a good sense of humor. You’re going to need it. There is carpet on the walls and sheets on the ceiling. I felt like the walls needed to be vacuumed. The place was dingy and poorly lit and we were the only couple there for most of the meal. My wife said she felt like we were on the set of restaurant impossible. The waiter/cook/owner(?) seemed to be the same person and the only one working. When he walked back to the kitchen, we could literally hear the buttons on a microwave being pressed and then the microwave cooking our food. I wanted to walk out but my wife wouldn’t let us. The food was horrible, and we got charged for tea for which we did not ask. It was definitely an experience we will never forget.
