I’ve been there several times in the past few months. They have great sandwiches with excellent bread. The staff is very pleasant. Prices are reasonable. Single check-out line and very slow credit card machine can make the process slow sometimes, but overall it is one of my favorite locations on the west side of downtown.

I am a big fan of the people that work here. They are all friendly and engaging. The coffee is good, and the sandwiches are solid. They are reasonably priced — not cheap, not expensive. I give thumbs up on having multiple veg options for the non-meat eaters. That’s not the easiest thing to find in Spokane! All in all, a solid place to stop.

Very fairly priced and excellent food/drink. I had a next door sandwich(build your own sort) with roast beef. The bread was so fresh it almost seemed homemade. Not sure if it is or isn’t. This will defiantly become my new daily coffee stop.

Moments ago I showed up to this lovely interior decorated coffee shop. First time for me, this place is located in a business area of downtown Spokane. I was taking in this new atmosphere and looking around to see what they offer, you know for reviewing purposes. It was a mini adventure, new coffee shop to me! Once I was ready to order though I can describe my experience as uncomfortable. I don’t know what to pinpoint the cause of feeling this way, maybe it was a mix of things. At best I can assume… First the facts: I came in at 8:00AM Thursday, I had on a white T, red basketball shorts and blue crocs. They had 3 male customers, middle aged, dressed in Kakis and buttoned down shirts. Behind the counter was an older gentleman and a younger middle aged gal. The older gentleman took my order. I ordered a 12oz iced coffee, and asked if they had a special, moments later to see it behind the gentleman on a board, and ordered one of those. The feeling: During the small window of ordering and asking the question about a special, *i felt* observed and waited on(in a negative sense) by the barista, the older gentleman. I felt stared at with no smile as though he was thinking«who are you, and what are you doing here?» When I was inquiring if they had a special, I was waiting for a «yes so and so» or «no we don’t» or even«what do you mean?» a change in facial expression maybe, but no comment same stare. The seconds between asking and deciding to look up at their wall to look for a special myself was long enough to add to the uncomfortableness. The points: the biggest impression, or lack there of, was the customer service. Not planning on coming back. Truly unfortunate, truly uncomfortable. For its brief moment it made enough of an impression… Secondary: their beans are either old or over roasted. That’s not a guess, whoever they carry produce oily beans and that’s it’s effect. If I’m going to get an iced coffee with a straw insert for a lid I expect to be given a straw with my drink. I could have asked, but that’s my assumption. Pros: great selection of sandwiches, teas, cold drinks, plenty of space to sit. Outside of my experience of the lack of customer service, this place is a great coffee shop… I wonder if it’s because I wasn’t well dressed… I wonder if the barista was having a bad morning, wonder if I looked like a typical young adult with their face on their smartphone… I don’t know.

This is seriously the best place in Spokane to get a sandwich. A wonderful atmosphere and the food is great! Prices are low especially for downtown. Such a large selection there is something for everyone. Try the Armenian it is to die for!

This place takes all my money since I work next door… to Next Door Espresso. They have an espresso drink special everyday which I usually opt for because it’s $ 2.75. Not a bad deal! Their sandwiches and soups are mighty tasty and you won’t break the bank for lunch. I really like their baked potato(they run out a lot!). It’s quite filling, especially if you get the works — we’re talkin’ butter, cheese, sour cream, and chili — and it’s under $ 5. Great little place to grab some coffee or lunch.

I go here on a semi-regular basis. It’s a great place to go if you want a quick snack or sandwich, but do not expect a culinary experience. The owner and staff are very nice. I’ve tried most of their sandwiches and the only one I’m fond of is the Arminian badar. All of their sandwiches are like any sandwich you could make for yourself at home, but they are nice about toasting it for you. The only thing I’ve been really disappointed with was their espresso(which is unfortunate considering their name) but their bulk tea variety is excellent and is prepared properly.

The owner and staff are always great here — fun and friendly. They know how to make the coffee drinks and have the right equipment. They have a great selection of loose teas as well. The staff pick up on your habits quickly and are ready to start on your order before it comes out of your mouth. The food is great and they are quick about making. Good place to have across the street from the office.

I work near this restaurant and go there often. They have a great variety of soups, sandwiches and snacks. The service is great. The owner is a riot and the girls are fun and entertaining. It’s a busy place around lunch time, but the wait time for food is less than five minutes even during peak business hours. The servings are large and the French Dip is delicious. So is the Armenian Olive Spread. Price for a full sandwich, soda and chips: Around 8 bucks. They have great specials that bring the price down to about 5 – 6 dollars. Oh. The coffee is great too, with daily specials and great prices. They have White Coffee too! My advice: find out for yourself.
