The name says it all. I ordered a Taco Salad and what I received was Something else. My office placed a delivery order so I was unable to grab the deliver person and have them take it back. When I opened the container marked Taco Salad what I received was a regular salad(iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, olives, a load of sour cream, cheddar cheese and salad which I paid extra for). I was so hungry I decided to eat it anyway and have to say it was not good. Everyone else had similar experiences with their food: mediocre to poor. From now on I’ll be getting«something else«.

If you’re in the mood for home style deli food, this is the place! I absolutely loved it. Clean and fresh flavors. I ordered the tuna sandwich. Delicious. Can’t wait to return!

I’ve been coming here for years for lunch since my mom introduced me. The staff is really friendly and you can tell they build relationships with their regular customers. The Santa Fe chicken sandwich(chicken, chipotle sauce, tomato, guac, and cheese on a warm focaccia roll) is fantastic. I also like their chicken Cesar salad($ 6.60 w/roll). My mom loves the Maifun salad. They have rotating pasta/small salad bar that has never disappointed if you want to add a cup to any sandwich or salad. Overall, if you’re downtown I would totally recommend trying them out!

My review is entirely based on customer service. I have never dined, nor will I ever dine in this establishment based on my experience. I called to order something for my employer and the woman who answered was very rude to me from the time I gave her the order, the name and then requested to verify the order was correct. If I had been ordering for myself I’d have said never mind and hung up. Rude, rude, rude. And from reading semi recent other reviews, customer service doesn’t seem to be their strong point.

I travel to Spokane for work frequently and stopped here on a suggestion from a local colleague. It was a great experience and I will definitely be returning. The place was packed when I went which is usually a good sign and judging by the clientele it was mostly locals who frequent the place. The décor is a little odd but WELL worth the wait and stay for the food. I had the Santa Fe chicken sandwich which was phenomenal. Great seasoning and fresh focaccia bread. It wasn’t too spicy but also not boring. They have a wide selection of sides to add to the sandwich. You can choose either chips, soup or from a surprisingly large selection of ‘salads’. The salads range from pasta, vegetable or garden salads. I had the broccoli and it was excellent. The dressing was slightly sweet with raisins in it and wasn’t overdressed like some salads can be. The service was very friendly and seems like it might be a family operation. With the number of combinations they have of sandwiches and salads it would be a great place for regular lunch stops. The price was more than reasonable and on the way out grabbed a butterscotch brownie for the road and it was the perfect afternoon snack.

As I’m sure their food is fantastic. As I’ve heard. I have only gone in the A. M for coffee. I’m always met with less then stellar customer service. Although their coffee does the trick i wish I didn’t have to wait 10 minutes for an Americano as their young Barista chats it up with her friends. Also as a tip. There are lines galore every Saturday you’re closed. Losing lots of business that day.

I was shocked at the amount of meat you got on your sandwich. I got three thin slices of meat on the sandwich where the cheese was thicker than the meat. It had a few sprinkles of lettuce. The bread was delicious. Their sandwiches used to be to die for, but now you get a bread sandwich… for $ 6.00 plus.

Huge salad selection, great sandwiches, awesome soups, and the best carrot cake in town. I try to make this a stop at least every couple weeks. The décor isn’t much, but the food and service is great! The daily special is ½ sandwich(changes daily) and a cup of soup or salad. This is enough for most. My personal favorite: salad bar — this is a huge plate consisting of a small scoop of a variety of noodle salads, marinated veggies, green salads, fruit, and whatever else shows up in the salad bar.
