I bought a gift certificate for a dozen roses at a charity auction. I was expecting 12 roses and maybe some babies breath.
I called the afternoon before my anniversary, and even though the store was closing in half an hour and not open the next day, she prepared the bouquet and left it with the proprietor next door. It was so much more than I expected. Lovely vase, beautiful, colorful arrangement. Well beyond my expectations.
