I’m not sure what has happened to this Twigs, but my husband and I had lunch here and the service was abominable. We’ve eaten here a fair amount and everything in the past has been great. I’m usually on my lunch hour and service is quick. This time we sat in the bar, since no one was out front to seat us. The bartender came over, with no menus, to get our drink order. He brought a beer back for my husband and I asked about menus. About 20 minutes went by and he finally came back to take our order. After a little while I noticed a couple of plates sitting under the heat lamp that looked like what we ordered. I stared at those plates for 15 long minutes. I watched all kinds of staff look at our plates and the tickets stuck to the front of the counter they were on. Another waitress eventually brought them to our table. I mentioned that I’d been watching the plates for 15 minutes and she just laughed. Our sandwiches were soggy on the bottom after sitting so long. Really, the cooks should be mad that the food sat so long. The restaurant wasn’t even half-full, so I don’t know if half the waitstaff didn’t come to work or what. Not one person apologized about anything. A «sorry» would have gone a long way. I heard the waitress apologize to the table next to us for whatever was screwed up there. We’ll be taking our business elsewhere next time – there are too many other options to bother with service like this.

Late night stop and the place was packed. Plenty of servers which provided good service. Wine & dessert menu could be better but overall the food, atmosphere & service have improved greatly since our last visit to Spokane.

Very very slow service. Took for ever to get our drinks. When Angela took our order she forgot my son order. I had fine someone to take our son order. When food came to our table it was warm. We had find someone tell them we were missing half of our food. She never came back to check on us. Took forever get box and our bill. We won’t be coming back anytime soon.

I really don’t know how twigs doesn’t have better ratings. I ordered a steak and it was the best steak I’ve ever had in spokane. When I say medium rare I mean medium rare and twigs delivered that. I’ve been to very expensive steak houses and twigs by far had them beat and for 21 bucks it was well worth the cost. To add the drinks are amazing. I will defiently be going back. Our waitress was fantastic and helped me find a delicious gin martini. The staff was very helpful and yeah the drink menu is long but if you say what you like in a drink they’ll help you find what you’re looking for.

I will not give a gratuity just because!!! I usually will have a late lunch/dinner & once again at Twiggs on the south hill I feel as thou I’m totally an inconvenience. NEVER once does the waiter ever come to see how things are. I have to raise my glass to get another drink. I will NOTPROVIDE a tip when you as the waiter have done nothing more than you are getting paid to do — wait on a table! I suggest Twiggs provide some instruction on how to be a better or best waiter/waitress. Terrible service after 2!

This location has the ambiance of a cafeteria. Service was slow, and for a place that specializes in martinis their signature Twigs martini is below average. Sorry!

In the summer sit out back on the patio. It’s definitely one of the best patios in Spokane. I had the Kalua Pork Tacos which were incredible and at a reasonable price(8.99 I believe). Service was great too.

The food here is consistently great. The speciality drinks are tasty and just boozy enough for a good time. I am a big fan of the burgers and salads, but everything tastes pretty great. The service is above average to good, and the ambiance is the right mix of casual cool and comfort. I recommend every Twigs location.

Our women’s walking and biking group frequently meets here after our events and we have always enjoyed the atmosphere and service. We sometimes traipse in with 22 people at lunch as we finish our walk or ride(we do make reservations) have gotten great seating and service. We have been seated outside and have especially enjoyed that. Some of us share sandwich and Twigs has always been accommodating to those gals. We also order lemon for our tea or water and have been given a plate of sliced lemons to pass around and we do appreciate that feature too. Our meals have always been delightful with great company, good food, and service. We plan to return soon.

My family has been going to Twigs for ten years now, and have always enjoyed it. However, I am disappointed to say that the restaurant has gone downhill exponentially. The food was horrible– cold, disgusting, and not what we ordered. The service was terrible– even though we had a reservation, the hostess said that she didn’t know who we were and directed us to wander around the restaurant. From the waitress, our drinks were never once refilled– I had to go to the bar to ask for water and a beer. At the table next to us, the manager spilled a beer in someone’s purse. Even after long time patronage, I would never recommend Twigs again. It’s sad that the north side doesn’t have better options, but I would recommend any restaurant over this one.

Bad service!!! We showed up at 6 and didn’t get food till 7:44. Waitress came by a total of 4 times in over 2 hours. We asked for shade and they said umbrellas don’t move, instead of asking if we want to move. Very fusterating for someone’s B-day dinner!

Two stars only for the choice we made from the menu during the Inlanders Restaurant Week. The three crab Mac and Cheese Lollipops from first course(appetizer) was good as was the Chocolate Peanut Butter Mousse Cake from the third course(dessert). But come on, only three small pieces of meat and two dime size pieces of broccoli and no other vegetables, the rest noodles, from the second course entrée(Truffle Penne) was hardly worth the $ 18 we paid!

Carlee is a horrid excuse of a waitress. The food is over priced and crap. It’s a place that tries to disguise their bland food with great atmosphere. Unfortunately the seemingly great atmosphere quickly faded with below average food and menu choices. A $ 100 bill for two entrees and two drinks is certainly not worth such mediocrity.

Delicious Food. Amazing Drinks. And have you seen their patio?! Nothing is more beautiful than having cocktails and apps by that beautiful pond in the evening(during summer of course). My go-to spot!

Let me begin by saying that I love this place. Soup and salad on a busy day is great even when I dine alone, which I hate. So to say that this is the worst experience I’ve had in a very long time is no joke and I’m definitely not laughing. Very very very disappointed. I was alone. Just wanted a soup and salad and my waiter forgot all about me. I waited for 20 minutes. All he said when I was leaving is that he was looking for the person who’s car lights were on. Well Mr. Good Samaritan, Guess what? The place was dead so I don’t believe you. ATALL !!! An apology would have been so nice but since I caught you hanging around the bar, I guess an excuse seemed necessary !! It will be a while til I visit again.

I agree with Steve B. We had six of us for lunch today. Arrived at 1215pm. The place was empty, yet we were asked to wait for ten minutes. After ten minutes we spoke to the mgr on duty and were told this is done to not over work the servers. The place was only 10 percent full! And there were as many people waiting for a table as were inside. Horrible mgt. We left and went down the street to the onion instead. Don’t go.

This is one of my favorite restaurants, high quality food and drinks. The butternut squash gnocchi is amazing. Plus I really like their fries with the Gorgonzola fondue. Also they have an awesome outdoor seating area with a lake/waterfall giving it a vacation kind of feel. Or you can sit inside by the fireplace all cozy! Also fast and friendly service, they are always checking up on you asking if you need refills.

Very eclectic menu. It has a bit of everything which in most cases is bad but this time it seemed to work out. All the food was done well and there was something for everyone. The huckleberry alcohol drinks were by far the best. But we also enjoyed the hummus and pita bread(although the olive tapenade was a bit much for me). I had a version of a pulled pork sandwich that was very good but their tomato basil soup was too rich. Wait staff was friendly, but fake and called us all bud and darling. I love chatty, fun waiters but be sincere not fake.

Every time. Always great. I sometimes forget to Unilocal about my favorite places, so this one is long over due. We’ve been coming here for years and never been disappointed. My new found favorite was a recommendation from the manager– not something I would normally order– the roasted beet and pear salad. It’s topped with Gorgonzola cheese crumbles and candied walnuts and a vinaigrette to die for. The drinks are always fresh and it’s fun to try a different martini all the time. Sit on the patio– the atmosphere is great and the service is perfect!
