Walmart

It’s a Walmart and it is consistent with others. It can be a scary, yet fun place to people watch. This location is not a super center so they do not have a full grocery compliment. Located close to a Starbucks and Safeway among others.

It is what it is… A Walmart. It’s close to my house. Open 24 hrs. Has a pharmacy, optometrist and a Subway. Not a Super Walmart but does have basic food stuffs. Not as sketchy as some of the Walmarts I have been to then again would never mistake it for Bloomingdales. Come on in, save a few bucks, maybe be offended or amused but understand savings and convenience sometimes come at a cost.

Who hasn’t shopped at a Walmart in their life? My gripe with this one? Not the mass market, oversees produced products that we as Americans crave with the fervor of a heroine addict looking for the next fix, nor the symbol of cheap quality service that could only be described as McService, but the people who shop there. This Walmart in particular looks and feels like it’s an add-​on to skid row, like Millwood, Hilyard, and Brown’s Addition all rolled into one.
How trashy could you get?
When you take a rather large group of people in all age ranges and backgrounds, who look like they haven’t showered in weeks, try to dress to intimidate people (or look like thug rappers! YUCK!!!), and look more than half strung out, (and pissed off/​Psychotic) I really don’t want to «mingle» ie shop there. I don’t care how much cheaper the blenders and lawn furniture are. When I’m getting cussed out while driving my car through the parking lot because some 19 year old wanna-​be thug (who looks like he took a little too much meth in the morning) thinks I was driving too close to him and his apparent «girlfriend». Real classy. I’m beginning to really dislike my town, AND this trashy walmart.

Great store with friendly people. Easier to get in and out of than super centers.

I’ll admit it – I like shopping at Walmart. I enjoy the everyday low prices and knowing that I’ll save a bundle on my grocery shopping. I’ve come to trust, too, that no matter which Walmart I walk into, the layout is generally consistent from location to location. Not here. This is the anti-​Walmart. There is no rhyme or reason to this place. I could also be biased because it’s not a Super Walmart, which means no deli, bakery or or fresh produce. It’s sad. ((*sniff*))
UPDATE, 8÷9÷2012: Visited this location tonight and was more than annoyed at the behavior of a group of teenagers who took over the place with no protest from Walmart staff. The group of thugs walked around departments and down the center of the aisles making it a point to speak very loudly – to the point of near yelling – dropping f-​bombs and using other foul language. They acted as though they were daring someone to challenge them. Everyone just stood around like nothing was happening? What planet am I living on when a group of skinny-​assed kids can come into a place of business and start harassing the customers? This place is an unsafe ticking time bomb. I’m going to the Walmart Supercenter at Fairchild from now on.

Wow! I thought the Chubbuck, Id Walmart was bad. It doesn’t hold a candle to this place. Holy cow this place is a mess. empty shelves laid out funky. This place is bad go to the other walmart in town avoid this place. The only thing that was redeeming according to my son that is looking over my shoulder was that they sold machetes.

Ok, I usually don’t shop at Wal-​Mart but I did order an item online. The shipping was free if I had it shipped to the store. So I picked up my item at the store and the transaction was smooth. The staff is friendly but the store is a little run-​down. It could use some of the billions it has to give the store a little facelift.
