Best sushi in Spokane, hands down! My boyfriend and I had a lunch date here and I have nothing but amazing things to say! First off, our waiter Thomas, was absolutely amazing! Both of us agree he’s the best waiter we’ve ever had. He was extremely personable, funny and made our experience there great! If you pop in there, request him.(He deserves a raise) We ordered the Popcorn Lobster roll and the Yellowstone and it was absolutely incredible. Very fresh and delicious. Not to mention we got our food within 10 minutes of ordering. I would recommend this sushi restaurant to anyone! Although it’s a 45 minute drive from our house, we will definitely make the trip for our next sushi date. Great service Wasabi, thank you again!

Solid spot for sushi. Nice décor and good service. Although the spicy tuna was good and fresh, the dish I tried didn’t wow me so that’s why I didn’t give it a higher rating.

The sushi place I go to as for the convenience of its location to my home(not the quality) but after trying to call and running down the street at 830 to have them kick me out I’m more than happy spending more on gas just to get better treatment. Last time I visited there were hair strands in pieces of my sushi which I decided to overlook since hair will fall out and isn’t too preventable but after the way they treated me this evening I will not be returning.

Delicious! Red Dragon Roll and Yellow Tails Garden was wonderful. The chefs are amazing to watch in action at the bar. It is clean and well put together. The only song is that it’s a bit cramped. There really isn’t any space to stand while waiting. Good mad it worth it though.

Honestly, nothing special here. Just your average sushi place with the same old frozen shrimp for your rolls. If you’re looking for a quick fix, with a slightly trendy atmosphere this could be the place. The North Side is short on sushi places, so it’s better than nothing.

Terrible service and staff. Called for a to go order and told the person over the phone I had a 15 off 30 certificate. She told me I was $ 2 short so I ordered another sushi roll. When I got there, the same person told me that the certificate cannot be used on to go orders. NOWHERE on the certificate does it say that. Server was rude and unfriendly. On our last visit, our order was never put in and had to wait an extra 30 minutes. My family comes here monthly. Not anymore!

Touch of sushi, Thai, Japanese, Chinese all in a simple easy to read menu. Great great food.

Just there and overall everything was pretty good. My wife had sushi… Well prepared… I had shiitake mushroom chicken… Dry and over done… My son had beef… Lots of flavor. We will be back!

This place was ok. The food seemed fresh — which is extra-critical when it comes to sushi. However, the menu was very basic, a bit overpriced for the portion sizes, and honestly, just very underwhelming. I left hungry after spending $ 50 on two bowls of miso, two entrees, and one appetizer. The salmon salad appetizer was great, as was the salmon sashimi. The salmon entrée was just OK, but that’s probably because we don’t like Asian food that’s prepared with a lot of thick sauces. Ambiance is modern, casual, and nice. Staff was friendly. Space was clean. Overall, A-OK. But in all honesty, if I were going out for sushi again tonight — I’d look for someplace different in the local area.

The restaurant is nice and the food is both yummy and pretty. It’s a little pricey for my taste, but nice for a treat every once in awhile.

My wife and I love sushi and have eaten at many places here in Spokane. We absolutely love this place. The service is always great and they are very kid friendly as well. I would highly recommend this place for anybody, families included. Good prices and great service. THANKYOU!

It’s ok, but not very Japanese. Odd menu, limited Sushi selection. It’s probably fine for those who stick to rolls. Service was great and the ambience quite engaging.

I was very disappointed with Wasabi when I visited today for lunch. I had a very sweet waitress with curled blonde hair, she was phenomenal. Very prompt and friendly. I ordered the drink special from a gentleman when I first sat down and he forgot it. Had to remind the waitress later to get it. The original gentleman went and made my drink, but I was SHOCKED to see another employee TASTE My drink before they gave it to me. He stuck a straw in it, plugged the top with his finger and tasted it and made a face before they brought it to my table. I commented on this behavior to that waiter and he seemed embarrassed and said«Oh, he doesn’t like lemon.» No apology for the fact my drink was drank before given to me. Extremely unprofessional behavior. The Las Vegas Roll was fantastic as always, spring rolls were decent, nothing special, Bonzai roll was very unpleasant, I’ve had baked rolls before but this one was just mushy with little flavor profile. Overall, not a super great experience especially with the price tag. I feel I should have received the drink for free after witnessing that kind of service, but instead I have learned my lesson and will not be returning to your establishment.

The service is slow, the edamame overcooked, silverware dirty, and no water service, thats before the main course. I would not recommend this restaurant unless you have no other options.

It’s hard writing a 3-star review when you want to love a place. We’ve been to Wasabi enough to form a solid opinion. We’ve had decent service and pretty awful service when our friend’s food order was completely forgotten and a separate time when drink orders were forgotten as well. We like the rolls and they have good specials from time to time! The Alaska Roll is a consistent fave. I also heard one of the employees say he is improving the wine menu so there’s that. The grapefruit saki drink they serve is delicious. I guess if you want sushi bad enough you sacrifice other service standards in Spokane’s Northside. It’s your gamble.

This place has potential, but they have a ways to go. Sushi was OK, the Popcorn Lobster Roll had cold crawfish on top, the tempura was luke warm, and the Heartattack appetizer had be re-requested. The tables are dirty as well as food stains on the menus, and the service is awful. Won’t be coming back.

This place definitely satisfied my sushi craving. And the best seaweed salad I’ve ever had. I will be back here!
