I’m moving to Spokane, and this is becoming a quick favorite place to go. My most recent visit was last night. Good amount of people out for dinner on a Wednesday, but was able to sit at the bar. Good alcohol list. I started with the Blueberry Basil Drop. The bartender did make a touch more sweet for me which was good. Salad: The wild sage salad is always good(I’ve had it the few times I’ve gone). It’s greens are held together by a piece of cucumber. Also has goat cheese and hazelnuts and a good dressing on top. This time around, I ordered the Tenderloin Fondue: has tenderloin, roasted pears and gorgonzola cheese. Really well prepared, I thought the pears were maybe a touch too sweet, but it was still delicious. A must go to in Spokane. Also with a Gluten Free Menu!

Service was impeccable– every dish thoughtfully prepared and plated. I rarely order desserts, but four of us shared five to clean plates, each better and more inventive than the last. Chef created a unique seafood dish for us meet a craving. The appetizer alone are worth the visit

This is probably my favorite restaurant in the Spokane area. The serving staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful with navigating the food and drink menu as well as offering suggestions based on your preferences. The atmosphere is warm and inviting with a wonderful background him of customers and music. I ordered their beet and goat cheese salad for an appetizer; the flavors were spot on! I honestly could have died right there and been 100% content with that being the last thing I ever ate. However, I made it to the entrée course and ordered their mushroom Marsala pasta. It was Devine. I haven’t ordered dessert or sat in for cocktails but I definitely plan on it soon!

A group of six of us dined here Saturday, 3⁄12. My wife had a Wild Sage martini she pronounced excellent. Our host and I had Manhattans made with Basil Hayden, which were just average. One of the party has an onion/garlic allergy and the server consulted with the chef to insure what was ordered would contain neither. When the Almond Flour Ravioli arrived, there were onions in evidence and it had to be sent back. My wife had the Calf’s liver, which was very good, but would have benefitted from a touch of sauce. Our host and I each chose the chef’s special rack of lamb. Upon presentation, it was definitely the smallest portion of meat ever served in all my years of ordering it around the world. The lamb probably was good but there wasn’t enough of it to say. There were four ribs, each with a dime-sized bite of lamb. The fried polenta accompaniment was good, but not memorable. Our host chose a Migration by Duckhorn Pinot Noir to accompany his and my lamb and it was perfect. Ossobuco is a Milanese speciality of cross-cut veal shanks braised with vegetables, white wine and broth. Wild Sage chooses to make it with pork shank and our member who had it enjoyed it very much. The service was good and overall, an enjoyable evening, albiet with a couple of glitches.

The Wild Sage burger, breast of duckling, and yukon taquitoes were amazing. We capped the meal with a crème brûlée, a glass of Remy, and a glass of port. The service was impeccable and the experience rather unmatched in the Spokane area. Not cheap, but anyone getting reservations would know that — and reservations are recommended. It is not a large restaurant. Thank you, Wild Sage — we will be back!

This was our second time here and both the service and the food are amazing. While you are there you should have the tenderloin bites appetizer. The Gorgonzola Sauce that it comes with would make ANYTHING taste wonderful.

I loved the wild sage. When i went in got the sage burger, the sage burger was absolutely amazing. Every bite was amazing and could be savored like the last. It was truly one of the best meals i have had in my life. The bread is great too, it was very light and was a perfect combination with there lavender honey butter. The waitress was very kind and seemed to be very cheerful overall the wild sage is a great place to go for a nice dinner. The people i kind, the interior is beautiful, but overall the food is great

My absolute favorite place to have dinner in Spokane. The atmosphere is so quaint and quiet and the cocktails are fabulous. The filet is better than anywhere in town. This is an upscale restaurant that is pricier than average, but well worth every penny. Unbelievable food.

Great food, great service. Menu was varied, and our server was knowledgeable. Extensive drinks menu as well. I will definitely be recommending Wild Sage Bistro to my friends and family. Dining style was upper-end of casual, with a moderate noise level. A good kids menu, too.

Best Food during my 3 days in Spokane!!! I was beginning to think only Seattle had great food until someone recommended trying Wild Sage out. It was our last night and I was hoping for a great meal or I was going to be disappointed in Spokane. Upon arriving we noticed it was busy and on the smaller side so thankfully we got there late enough that there were tables opened. We were shown our seats after a short wait and instantly had our server come by. He was extremely helpfully being our first time there; I wish I remembered his name he was great and funny. Anyhow the food, we ordered the Yukon Taquitos because they looked interesting and were recommended. All I can say is that they were amazing, little deep fried tacos with potato, cabbage, and avocado inside and a bit of spicy sauce to dip them in. Everyone at the table thought they were incredible. I need to try to make them at home, wow!!! I ordered the Dry-Aged pork chop and it was cooked to perfection and still juicy with amazing taste. The others ordered the burger which was perfected cook and big and the wife ordered the duck which she was thoroughly impressed by. I really wish they were not a 5 hour drive away because I would come here once a week. Amazing is all I can say, but I think I would make reservations if I was going again because it seems to be a popular place and not surprising at all.

Oh what can I say about this gem in downtown Spokane? Well, I’ll tell you! I can say plenty! My hubby and I came here for our anniversary dinner date, and were blown away! The restaurant is comfortable, charming, and romantic. Our server, Landon, gave us spot on world class service! He wasn’t too pushy, didn’t come over every time our mouth was full of food to ask how everything was, and had a smile on his face the whole time. It took a great dining experience to a whole new level and made it an event! The food was gorgeous looking AND tasting. Well executed plates of delicious food, and a spicy sage lemonade that you must try! Tart and slightly sweet, it looks like an innocent lemonade, but after an herb-infused sip, the jalapeño gives you a little love tap! My hubby had the chanterelle mushroom chicken, and I had the duck breast. Succulent, flavorful, and delicate. We had crème brûlée and the coconut cake, both exquisite. The crème brûlée was sweet, creamy, and studded with real vanilla bean. The coconut cake was surprisingly made with almond flour, but it was so moist – not easy to do! The meal ended with a box of two truffles made in-house, because we came in for our anniversary! Very memorable!

Pretty amazing selection of dishes. The staff is incredible. Every course is delightful. The cocktails are unique. This place has great appetizers. My recommendation is to have drinks, three apps and dessert. Two people dining will be more than full. Enjoy! I’ll be back

I’m pretty sure I’ve died and gone to food heaven. I’ve never been in restaurant where the server was so attentive, the food was so spot on and the tastes were so exquisite. Lisa was my server, she was consistently out on the floor, taking care of her tables, looking at every guest table she had without being invasive. If I didn’t need anything, she didn’t approach. If my water was low, she filled it without a word. I was hungry but not starving so I had a bacon blue salad, then the tenderloin fondue appetizer, then the«asparagus for the table» —followed by dessert and a drink. Lisa knew every detail of every dish she served, not only to me but the surrounding tables. I can’t say enough about how impressed I am with the service. I’ll be back. Amazing experience.

Wow, just, wow. This is by far the best food I have had in Spokane. And the drinks! The Parisian Pear is my favorite, but all are outstanding. The Yukon Gold Tacos are a must-have appetizer. Any meal I’ve had has been amazing. Yes, it’s expensive — but for good reason. Worth every penny.

OMG!!! Thank goodness for Unilocal! We got into town late and would have just eaten dinner at the hotel. However, the Unilocal reviews for Wild Sage were so good that we ventured out. SO glad we did!!! We opened with the Blueberry Basil Drop. The smell of the basil… the taste combo of the blueberry and the basil… I cannot even explain how good it was! Hands down, the best martini I’ve ever had. Then came the complimentary popovers. The lavender honey butter is so amazing that we used our popovers to scoop the butter! Both the duck and the goat cheese stuffed chicken were superb. And our server, Landon, was fantastic. Very attentive. Super knowledgeable. He made our Wild Sage experience outstanding. Highly recommend!
