Just left Dot’s, I had the Firehouse burger and it was one of the best burgers I’ve had since living here in San Antonio. Highly Recommend

The service was really slow the last two times that we dined here, and they weren’t even busy. I love their hamburgers, but it shouldn’t take 45 minutes!

This may be the best burger in the state. The Hawg! Half pork half beef with bacon and cheese. I add jalapeños as well. You can thank me later. And the seasoned fries are awesome. If your appetite is not so big, get the Piglet. A 1⁄3 lb version of the Hawg! If you are crazy take the Infidel Challenge.

The food was great and burgers are so delicious! Everything is so homemade tasting. One turn off is that they put effort into advertising and presentation, yet the building looks like it could be somebody’s house, not in a good way. Very boring and unattractive, not somewhere I would necessarily take my visiting family to dine.

Had heard good things about this place. Ordered two burgers to go/for pick up shortly after the restaurant opened. When we arrived, the«hostess» already acted like she was harried and disinterested. Paid for our food, drove home, started our movie, opened our order. WASNOTIMPRESSED. The order, according to the receipt, was taken correctly and charged as such, but was not filled properly. Trying to give them a chance(and not wanting to make the drive back) still, I tried the burger. Not impressed. Overall, was not worth my money… mediocre burger that had no flavor and flavorless, soggy fries. Sorry, but I wouldn’t recommend and I definitely won’t go again.

I don’t live to far from Dots and I have had their burgers a couple of times. Not a bad burger, but the cost of the burger is way over priced! Dots in my opinion is way to proud of their burgers! In a small area like spring branch, you have to accommodate your locals and tourists to have returning customers! Just because your rent is high for the building you’re in doesn’t mean you have to have such high prices on your menu.

Fries were waaaaay too salty. Burgers were thrown together and presentation was«sloppy». Onion rings were mostly batter. This place is not worth the hype. Won’t be back.

I’ll have to put the hawg burger I just had in my top 5 burgers of all time! The burgers are large so consider splitting one. Good beer selection.

I guess when you visit and for the food, it is a hit and miss type place, but when I went, the appetizers were pretty good, Try the Flaming Hawg Balls for something different. The prices are not bad, servers nice, burgers pretty good selection and taste. Guess, it is just a hit and miss, depends on the cook? My burger was good, and the fries and onion rings were not greasy. Hope this helps?

Branded buns are cool! The service was really good, and the food was even better! Their menu is really unique which is hard to find these days in the world of cookie cutter burger joints. I had the Peanut butter and Jalapeño jelly burger, it took some self convincing to attempt it, but it really was a refreshing flavor combination. Those who venture outside of the box of burger flavors, will enjoy this place!

Very very good! Had the Flaming Hawg Balls and they were great and the Dot’s burger add mushrooms and Swiss. Delicious. Seasoned fries are floppy but great flavor. Daughter had onion rings and they are really good. We will stop again. Full and happy! Waitress were great too.

Stopped by Dot’s and ordered cheese burgers, onion rings and fries. The burgers were OK, nothing to write home about, and were topped with a tiny piece of lettuce, a couple pickles, and a small tomato. Might as well have left the veggies off — one bite and they were gone! The fries and rings were dripping in grease, enough to where we could hardly eat them. Maybe they were having an off day, but I doubt we’ll be back.

We wanted to try this restaurant since it was close to home & have read the great reviews. Very pleased with our selections. My husband had the Club Sandwich with Home Cut Fries & I had the Hawg Burger with Onion Rings. Both delicious but we both went nuts over the thin cut onion rings. Huge burgers, all satisfied & was told that everyone can order from Kids menu. Great for me if I ever go without my husband to finish the meal. Great selection in Brewz. My only complaint is that Beer could have been colder & the only reason I only gave 4 Stars. In all fairness, it is scorching outside!

I’ve rode by Dot’s many times and never seen the parking lot very full. But we had some time on this day and checked it out for lunch. Its in An older building, but things appeared to be in good repair. The atmosphere was simple and clean. The waitress was outgoing and friendly. We had their staple, a burger and fries/rings. The seasoned fries were very good(not covered with a coating of salt and a mystery seasoning). The onion rings were the shoestring variety and were too greasy for my taste. But… not bad. I had a good old fashioned Bacon Cheeseburger. Again, it was okay. My sweetheart ordered the«Big Pappa»… now THAT was one tasty burger! Never had«chicken fried bacon» and jalapeños on a burger before, but it was very good! The overall service time was fine good and the meal was reasonably priced. This place is family owned and operated. Definitely try it out.

3.4STARS! The burger is damn good but lacked a fresh feel and taste. The bun in white and buttery so you will enjoy. I added swiss cheese for looks and flavor but it didn’t need it. This place is certainly a biker bar so leave the kids at home. Foul language will be herd. The cook time is a little longer that it should be for two cooks in the back but whatever. I’ve had this place bookmarked for a long time and I’m glad I made the trip. I’ll bring more buddies here for a damn good burger. Not a five star burger but then again it wasn’t full of grease which sometimes you want and sometimes you don’t The fried pickels are awesome. Thick cut and spicy! Dipped in ranch its a nice change up from the basic fried pickels. Order them. The chicken fried steak on the sandwich is over salted and didn’t cut with a butter knife. You be the judge but it was still worth eating. Enjoy!

Just received a message from the owner I thought I should share: «Sir, in response to your public bashing on this website, I can tell you that you are completely wrong. The waitress was advising me that you had called three times, and we were very busy. She stated that each time you and your wife called, you asked if the order was ready. While we cater to ALL of our customers, on busy days we cannot single out one customer(you) and give you personal updates. In addition, the last time she called she stated that „if it isn’t ready, we want to cancel“. I urge you to ensure that you hear both sides to every story before blasting someone’s business because you fail to do your due diligence and get all the facts. You could have come and spoke with me at any time, but chose to kick me under the bus, on the internet. „Heaven help“ people such as yourself. Good day.» Again, the problem was in the rude guy which I assume was the owner. This was a non-event that he just had escalate to show he was the boss.

I’m not a motorcyclist-I don’t know if I’ve even taken a seat on one since I was launched over the handlebars of my friend’s Yamaha 80cc minibike during the summer before I started 7th grade. If, however, I were to pull on the leathers and fire up a hog(if that ends up being some kind of sexual metaphor unknown to my innocent mind, I apologize in advance to any offended readers), I suspect most of my weekend trail rides would take me to Dot’s. Situated at a busy Hill Country crossroads, it’s in the perfect spot to attract patrons from the roving hordes of well-mannered bikers filling local roadways these days. The décor is simple: white walls in a square room(if I’m not mistaken, this building appears to have been built elsewhere and trucked here), blue checked tablecloths and a mix of booths and tables. The staff is small in number, but friendly and efficient. The menu gets to the point: it’s about burgers and they’re worth the drive. I chose the HawgBurger(a nice play on the preferred mode of transportation for most patrons and the beef/pork mix in the patty) and it was excellent. From the sweet kolache-style bun with the«DOT’S» brand seared in to the spice of the patty to the onion rings(more like«onion strings, amirite?), it was a great roadhouse meal. Definitely worth the trip.

Love this place!!! Owner and wait staff, especially Caroline, are out of this world! Awesome burgers; I suggest the Hawg Burger or Brunch Burger! Their fries are by far the best I’ve had… hands down! Selection of brews is great too! If you want a relaxing place with great food and brews and the nicest/funniest wait staff this is the place to go!

We’ve gotten to-go from here twice at work. The burger was delicious and well«branded» with the dot’s logo on it.
