Cheesesteaks and hoagies are awesome. Pepperoni roll things are delicious. Delivery is fast!

We tried a mix of foods(pizza, cheesesteak, wings and calzone), which we generally liked. None of these was the very best we’d ever had, but they were all pretty good. Service was friendly and drinks were refilled, but the time between arriving and ordering, and between ordering and food service were quite long. The dining room is about the level one would expect for a pizza and sandwiches sort of place, and it’s got some character. Prices were steep considering what we ordered and the accommodations. If I returned to find the slow service was a fluke, I’d almost add a star, but for the prices.

Claim that they no longer deliver. Is this true? If so, what a shame for business.

This review is for a eat-in establishment who’s primary offerings include pizza, hoagies(zeps) and wings. We tried the Italian and Turkey hoagies. The order was«to go». The place is clean, has ample seating and some updated amenities in a 200+ year old house which is kind of cool. They have three beers on tap with bar seating and with a liquor license ini hand and no bars directly in the area I was amazed they didn’t capitalize more on that portion of the business. The food was passable, not great but okay. The main thing that many food joints just don’t get around here is that the roll is the most important peice of the meal. It’s the first thing you see, and bit into. Both sandwhiches we ordered came with very dry rolls. I’m no chef and I could tell these rolls were days old. The most concerning part of our experience, and this is super important so Mr. Owner you should really listen: The customer service SUCKS! I mean really really is terrible. The first person who waited on me was nice but didn’t know the size of the small and large sandwhiches. The person who took her place(shift change) acted like she couldnt wait for me to leave. Now, everybody had bad days and I’m not starving for attention but THEMAINTHINGTHATSELLSBEYONDANYTHINGELSEISFREINDLYCUSTOMERSERVICE. And I mean period. Overall, don’t avoid it, just realize there are other places in the immediate area that offer the same thing. And for crying out loud, order in fresh rolls every day.

I want to love this place, as they are right down the street from me and the staff is always very friendly, but their prices for specialty pies are way out of control. 16″ White Pizza, which in my opinion, is not really a specialty… no crazy toppings, just garlic and the price tag is $ 18! This is very thin pizza so there is no way I am going to spend $ 40 with tip on two specialty pizzas. I’ll admit, their White and BBQ Chicken pizzas are my favorite, but even a plain cheese pizza is over $ 12. There are so many other options out there when you are in need of a few pies for a gathering. Large menu of apps, wings, salads, strombolis, sandwiches, etc… I have had both their chicken cheese steak and regular cheese steak, and I’d opt for the latter. Only a buck difference for the large, so go that route and you have a meal for later too if you can keep to eating just half. Fairly well stuffed subs too. Kids nights on Monday and Tuesday where the kids meals are only $ 2. Plenty of seating for you and the family. One huge TV in the place and a couple games for the kids(or the kid in you). Bottom line, the food is decent, but for the prices, I demand more.

Moved right down the street from here and the takeout situation was bleak. We ordered from this place twice a week. The pizza is good and usually is ready in 15 minutes. Red rooster sandwich is awesome. Good place to take kids or enjoy pitchers with friends.
