This is a nice take-out place with an interesting menu. I had the beef and mofungo and it was a nice surprise. However they didn’t have any take-out menus, so it makes it hard to order again. I ate in the restaurant which has minimal seating since it is really for take-out. They don’t always have everything made that’s on the menu so be prepared with second options. They were still relatively new when I went so it could be they were just figuring things out.

What a great find right in Spring City. Our first taste of true Purto Rican food and we were not dissapointed. I had the fried pork with mofongo. The pork was very flavorful and the mofongo was delicious although I do recommend the olive oil and garlic to go over it. It makes it even better. The side of rice and pigeon peas was very good and huge for the price. We also got a plate of the roast pork, yellow rice and black beans. The roast pork was excellent, moist and perfectly seasoned. We also tried a chicken and cheese pastillo(sp?), empanada. Although not on the menu the owner was happy to make one up for us. The pastry was light and flaky and the filling delicious. All that and a small bill at the end of dinner. What more could you ask for? A nice conversation with the owners about their food and their restaurant. If you get a chance don’t miss this hidden little gem in Spring City. Great food and great service.

Authentic Puertorican cousine! Eating at Palma Breeze was like eating at your own house with homemade food. Very friendly service with really good prices.

Great puerto rican food, mofongo w/roast pork is the best, the tripleta is full of meat and platano lasagna is really flavorful. Don’t miss out on a hidden gem.

I am thrilled to have this great restaurant within three miles of my house. I love Puerto Rican food and have chased it down in Camden. This food is better than I found there. Pastelillos, pernil, arroz con gandules are absolutely delicious here. There is also a Puerto Rican-style«lasagna» with beef and cheese and thinly sliced plantains instead of pasta which is outrageously flavourful. As others have mentioned, this is a family-run business, and Betsy could not be more welcoming and helpful to customers. If you are unfamiliar with the cuisine, please try it. It is inexpensive and not scary at all. The level of spice is solely in your hand(hot sauce). This location is a challenge to a start-up business; please support this lovely family and enjoy the hospitality and delicious food.

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! We received the menu in the mail and my husband is a Puerto Rican food fanatic so we gave it a try and got take-out tonight. The roast pork with rice & pigeon peas was the best he’s had outside of Puerto Rico. The pork is tender and the dish is so flavorful(addictively so!). We also had the beef pastelillos and fried pork mofungo which were also quite tasty. The family that runs the restaurant are just the nicest people and, as another poster stated, the location is challenging because it’s not right on the street. So go and try it and support a terrific locally-owned business!

Palma Breeze just opened at 13 Riverside Drive, just behind the Burger King. They serve Caribbean food with a Puerto Rican speciality. I tried their Mofongo with roast pork today and it was delicious! The place has been completely renovated. The interior is bright and tiled. It’s a family run business, so do what you can to help support them.
