If your looking for Chinese food that has zero taste you have found it! Would NEVER order from here again. They don’t even do fried rice well. Out of $ 50 worth of food the only thing that had taste was the fortune cookies. Hungry for Chinese? Skip it and get something else.

Big concern: Bathroom had NOSOAP in it and it is the bathroom used by employees as well as waiting customers…

The food is good and you get a lot of it. Enough for 2 meals. From ordering to receiving the food was about 10 minutes. There is not a lot of room to sit and eat, best to take home. The price is average considering the amount of food you get. Would order from there again

Good flavorful food. Lo mein noodles were just great and the home style veggies came with a sweet savory sauce that probably had fennel which tasted superb. One of the very few decent options to carry out if you are in the Chain o Lakes area.

There’s only 2 places to get Chinese food and this is one of them! Great prices! More geared towards takeout; you get a lot of food! The staff isn’t very friendly and be sure to be clear on the order. Highly suggested for a quick filling lunch!

It’s Chinese food. The same Chinese food served at every Chinese restaurant like this.

The food was really, reaaly good; especially pork egg foo young. I’ll definitely be back. I’ll call the order in, and check it carefully.

China Taste is… interesting. The storefront is not very inviting. I walked in, expecting this to be a little bit larger than it actually was — it’s really just a takeout storefront. There are two mismatched tables and some chairs, but they were covered with stuff when I was there, and didn’t look available for sitting down. There’s also a collection of bamboo plants and jewelry for sale… a sort of eclectic atmosphere. To the food — there’s maybe a dozen items, with pictures, posted above the counter, and I honestly thought that might be the whole menu. Given how… non-committal this place seemed to be at embracing it’s restaurant status, it wouldn’t have stunned me. But they had paper menus too, with all the standard stuff. I ordered Kung Po Chicken, since it’s harmless and a good yardstick for Chinese. The portion was huge for the $ 5.50 or so that it cost me, although didn’t include egg roll or anything like that. Fine with me, as I don’t think I’ve ever had an egg roll worth eating again. The chicken was just as I would expect — cubed veggies, tender white meat chicken, nice salty-spicy brown sauce, and some rice. The rice had soy or something on it to turn it brown(but wasn’t brown rice) but didn’t appear to be what I would call«fried rice» as it didn’t have egg or veggies in it. I’m not sure how much longer I’ll be up in this neck of the woods, but this is worth going back to. The trick is finding a place to eat the food. I love«American Chinese», and this works fine.
