Diamond in the rough!!! Having worked in the kitchen at Goofys for 2 years(15ish years ago), I’d have to say this place was my most adored place of employment. Not only did Rita and Whitey take AMAZING care of their employees, they took even better care of their customers to make sure they had a great time with great food. I’ve worked at other restaurants, and they don’t hold a candle to the way that food is prepared, prepped and cared about like they do here. They don’t just throw a frozen burger on a grill and flop it on a plate just to make a buck. They order fresh, quality meat that has to be patted out and cooked to the customers liking. Oh, and the cheese steak subs are KILLER!!! They actually toast the bread! I was at a Lancaster Co. sub shop that apparently had the best cheese steaks subs in the county, and if I wasn’t such a nice person, I would’ve sent it back. The bread was cold and cheese not melted. No taste or flavor, just soggy bread with meat and a drip of pizza sauce on the top. Sacrilege!!! I think Goofy’s wins for cheese steaks! My all time fave food there was the spaghetti, which I think was a Monday special. The sauce is to die for!!! I miss this place so much!!! If you see Jess, Josh, Whitey, or Rita… tell them Ethel told you to order the cheese steak!!!

Nothing fancy going on here in terms of style. But the food is pretty good. There’s a waitress that makes you wish every waitress could look that good give that kind of service. And if you’re a guy you’re really wishing she could give something else. The back is more of a eating area. Also a band area that you can have a good tim me but likely more for the locals. Bar upfront has a few tvs. You can catch the Orioles or Ravens although not always in HD. Overall, a safe place that Hollywood has taught you to avoid on looks alone but is a nice alternative to the area selections.

Went in at the end of February for Taco Tuesday had a really good Seafood Alfredo quesadilla. Then had to wait to order taco after finally ordering took almost an hour to get our tacos. Wasn’t that busy but wait time and service was subpar! Will definitely be a while til I go back

The food is good bar food. The atmosphere is very Spring Grove with everyone friendly and a waitress that makes you want to ask if she’ll have sex with you, if you give a big enough tip. The steaks, chicken, and sandwiches have all been good and sometimes surprisingly well made. Jukebox for music. Yes — it’s a bar. So you might hear a Steel Panther song but I’ve also heard Tony Bennet. Bigger back area. Go

Food is decent but the music — wow — x-rated to say the least — made us wonder with a stack of high chairs in the dining area… Burger looked great — partner confirmed. The turkey Reuben made me want a Rachel — but good — cold beer always a plus. I would stop here again when in the area.

Good local bar with surprisingly good food. Whenever they have the all you can eat fish basket, order and gorge. One of my favorites! Drinks are usually spot on. Beer is cold. I know I’ve said nothing but positives however a few nasty waitresses can really put a sour taste in your mouth even if the food is great.

Popular biker stop, always seems to be busy so we decided to check it out. First, my wife and I aren’t bikers. I boldly entered the establishment wearing a pastel purple polo and flip flops. I ordered the Cuban. It wasn’t bad but I’m picky about Cubans and this one was off. First, it uses sweet pickles. Second, it has American cheese, gasp! There’s barely a touch of pork on it and lunch meat ham. It also contains lettuce. This sandwich should be called a pork and ham sub. My wife had a Chicken Quesadilla. She gave me a quarter of it. It was delicious. We had pints of Lancaster Milk Stout and I was pleasantly surprised to see this on tap. The interior kind of smells like stale beer. It is also much smaller than it seems from the outside. They do have Natty Boh on tap and by can. Can price is all-the-time $ 1.50. I’d go back but if you are a Cuban sandwich aficionado, steer clear.
