Not all that great. The Famous in downtown Hanover is so much better! Worth a bit of an extra drive.

Decent chili dogs with loads of finely chopped onions and thin crispy fries. Chili is very mild and not overly flavorful, so the other flavors aren’t overpowered. Pretty bland compared to Skyline and other chili dog joints, but bland is the preferred cuisine in central PA.

I consider myself as a hot dog aficionado,(even if I DID have to cheat and look up the spelling!) I normally eat 2 dogs. I LOVE chili dogs done the right way. Having said that… these were NOT done the right way, they were mostly onion dogs. I’m being serious here… there were so many onions, you couldn’t see the chili or hot dog underneath. I had to scrape off tons of onions so that I could try to taste the deliciousness of the chili and dog… problem was, the dog nor the chili had much of a taste that I could discern. I was very disappointed and honestly, my wife makes a much better chili dog.(after much searching for the right chili sauce recipe.) A REAL chili dog has a line of yellow mustard on top of the dog, followed by BEANLESS chili sauce and onions. I could have topped a whole pack of hot dogs with the left over onions I had. And my wife’s salad was huge, but mostly lettuce. We won’t be back.

Special with a large banana milk shake — can’t beat it!
