The pernil is great! With plantains and beans/rice. Couldn’t ask for anything better. Brought my family here and they all enjoyed it. Bought some empenadas, lacked filling, but what do you expect for $ 1. Great prices, great food. Ant twice already in a week. Probably will go one more time before I go back to NY. Service was good too. Nice ppl.

Good variety of products, prices are affordable. They do fresh lunch and dinner for takeout and thats affordable as well. The empanadas are good, but flaky crusts.(We make better ones at home in my opinion cause we stuff ours more but their filling is delish) The people are very nice. Its a little small in there if it gets crowded but it all works out.

This is a little gem in Spring Hill where you can get a fresh lunch and hispanic groceries. First, the good. The shelves are stocked with a wide variety of hispanic ingredients. The meats sold are prepared inside the market and priced very reasonably. I’d recommend coming here before you go to other grocery stores and pay a premium. There are many unique items such as hispanic sodas with real cane sugar rather than corn syrup. The mandarin orange soda is definitely worth a try if you can’t decide on a beverage. Avoid the 99c drinks loaded with corn syrup. In the front front they sell all of the food made for lunch. They have guava pastries, coconut pastries, potato balls stuffed with beef, chicken/beef empanadas, black/red beans, white/yellow rice, and chicken with peppers to name a few. Make sure you come sooner rather than later for the guava/coconut pastries as they tend to sell out! I asked the owner and he told me that they only make the pastries in the morning, so there’s a limited supply. One of their signature items is their cuban sandwich, which incredibly good and made-to-order. In the front of each of the aisles they sell freshly-baked goods produced by a nearby bakery in Florida. I haven’t tried any of the cuban cookies or other baked goods, so I can’t say if they taste as good as they look. As for the bad, there’s really not much to complain about. The place is a little cramped, you may encounter an empty space on the shelf when a popular item is sold out. They maintain a small stock to prevent food from spoiling, hence keeping prices down. Pastries are also made in small batches. One time I got dry chicken(from sitting under heat lamps), so I’d suggest sticking to the empanadas for a quick lunch. I don’t like oily food, so I stay away from the potato balls. Others seem to enjoy them, though. You really can’t go wrong by checking this place out.

This place has the BEST Spanish food in town. The empenadas are amazing, and I love the sweet plantains. Everything is fresh, and you get a ton of food for the price. The marketplace is great for grabbing a drink or snacks to go with your sandwich or food. If I could go here for lunch every day, I definitely would.

I drive 45 minutes to get there, it is worth the drive. I take all my friends there, the food is so good. and the prices are better, if you are hispanic, you will find a second home there…

This is a little Spanish grocery store that serves food as well. They had some sandwiches and then I saw what I wanted. They had Papa Rellena little stuffed potato balls. They were only a dollar and so good. Then I had an Empenada pastry shell with seasoned meat for a dollar. I was in heaven. If in the area you got to try this place and get some groceries too!!!
