I am visiting Spring Hill and carefully reviewed the surrounding nail salons in the area and decided to try Nails So Happy based on their great reviews. I would like to start by saying that everyone is very friendly. I was a bit surprised to find that their mani/pedi price is about $ 6 more than I pay at home in California but that wasn’t a big deal. My main disappointment here was the quality of the mani/pedi. First, my cuticles weren’t thoroughly pushed back and clipped. As a practicing esthetician, I’m aware that specific State Board regulations can vary from state to state and that it’s possible they aren’t allowed to cut excess cuticle, but they should have at least been pushed back on my toenails prior to painting. Thankfully I had recently done this to my nails and they didn’t need it. Second, apparently the second coat of the polish, as well as the top coat only made it to part of my nails. It’s pretty standard for this to happen with the top coat, as I always apply another coat when I return home so that the manicure actually lasts but having the second color coat applied so carelessly makes the manicure just look bad. I’ve uploaded a photo for reference. I feel that I’ve basically wasted my $ 31 and will now have to get them redone when I return home. The woman who did them was very nice and I tipped her well for her time but wouldn’t return or refer anyone here!

I swear by this salon, and frankly, have not found another I like as much. About once a month I treat myself to a pedicure, and if time and money permit, a manicure and Nails So Happy is my go-to retreat. Wait Time: 4⁄5 Generally, when I walk through the door and say I’m going to be getting a pedicure(I always forget to make an appointment), they immediately have me pick out a color and hop in a massage chair. Within about 60 seconds, someone comes and starts the bubbling foot bath. They only lose a star because, if they are busy(and this is often my own fault for coming during peak hours without calling), you have to hang out(albeit getting a massage and soaking your feet) for up to 15 – 20 minutes. Environment: 3⁄5 While the décor is relatively non-descript and nail-salon-cliché, what really hits the nail on the head for me is the music. Instead of blaring some reality TV show over the loud speakers, or piping in whatever oldies station they can receive(I’m looking at you, Fantastic Sams), I’ve noticed that this salon tends to play soothing instrumental versions of contemporary music. It’s refreshing and calming combined. And let’s be honest — no one goes to a nail salon for the setting anyway. Also worth noting: this place is CLEAN compared to it’s competitors. You can’t perform surgery in ANY nail salon, but when the staff break out their brooms two hours into the day to keep the place sparkling, it strikes as impressive. Prices: 4⁄5 Compared to other nail salons(Lee Nails on 50, Walmart nail salons, Cosmo at Northcliffe and Mariner) in the area, Nails So Happy strikes about average on across all service prices. Where they earn their fourth star(especially for me) is on their extensive pedicure«menu». Starting from a basic pedicure(at around $ 19, I believe), this menu ranges up to a Deluxe(around $ 24), through the Hawaiian(my favorite at around $ 32, which includes salt soaks, sugar scrubs, hot paraffin masks, and the hot towel massage), and into the truly exotic: Chocolate and Hot Stone.(Neither of which I have experienced first hand.) Nails So Happy offers a broad spectrum of services for appropriately scaling prices. Service: 5⁄5 This is what keeps me coming back. Despite my once-a-month getaways, the staff tends to remember me and makes an effort to ask about developments in my life. Beyond that, I’ve noticed that other salons do nothing to ease the«cultural divide». You know, that awkward moment when you ask them to go a little easier on your cuticles or to add an extra clear coat and the person attending to your nails(and subsequently the entire salon) begins rattling off angrily in their native language. I have not had this experience with Nails So Happy. They are always smiling, willing to customize your experience, and appreciate you as a customer. Overall, I HIGHLY recommend this nail salon.

It’s nice and my manicure is good. But there isn’t really anything that makes it stand out other than they have regular polish to match gel which is pretty great :)

Here on vacation, I went for a fill-in and pedicure on a relatively busy Sunday afternoon. Short wait, nice waiting area. Service was polite and the place is clean and well decorated. For a good salon, the devil is in the details. At Nails So Happy the polishes were well organized, the sanitizer is in clear sight, and the pedicure ended with the yummiest scrub and an amazing leg massage. Prices were totally reasonable, I would come back.

I really wanted to get a good pedicure at a clean salon so after checking Unilocal and finding 3 five star ratings for this place, I decided to drive the 10 miles from my house. While I was there I was very happy with everything and enjoyed chatting with Melissa who did my pedicure. I opted for the Deluxe choice which cost $ 22 as opposed to the basic which is $ 19. After she finished she sat me under the ultraviolet lights. A while later, since Melissa had stepped out, I asked the man who was sitting at the desk to check to see if the polish was dry. He came over, checked and took the toe separators off. My feet looked and felt good. Unfortunately the polish on all of my toenails began peeling off only hours later even though I only wore flip flops. I called the next day to tell them and explain that they were 20 miles round trip from my house and because of the gas it would cost me, I just wanted my money back. The woman who answered the phone checked with her supervisor and came back to the phone telling me again that they could only offer me to have them redo the toenails that have peeling polish. The woman on the phone told me that this rarely happens. This may be true but since it did happen, they should have refunded me if that is what I wanted. If they had done that, I would have come back for my next pedicure. My girlfriend had previously asked me if I knew of a good place for a pedicure and I know now I will not be recommending Nails So Happy. This incident shows that they do not care about customer service.

This was a very great spot. I’m from Cali and was visiting my mom in FL. We both got pedi’s here… Their prices were great, the atmosphere was relaxing, the place was very clean and they had great customer service. This will definitely be mine and my moms new spot every-time I visit. I would definitely recommend that you try it out and see for yourself.

Went to WalMart a couple weeks ago and it was a waste of money. Should have came here first. They do a great job and get rid of all the Calluses and my feet are happy again. Nice, Clean, and very professional! I would recommended to my friends.
