I had my sister’s baby shower cake done here. I had a bubble theme in mind and they were able to work out a design over the phone based on what I was describing. It was really simple and hassle free which i really appreciated bc it wasn’t cookie cutter with preset designs. They cake itself turned out super cute and everyone at the shower loved it. It was a vanilla cake with a raspberry filing and butter cream frosting. It had quite a bit of design on the outside with water and bubbles but the frosting wasn’t hard or pasty which we really liked bc sometimes places will only want to do fondant which I dont care for. The cake itself was still really smooth and my sister was happy with no fondant. We did a 10 inch round which was more than enough for 25 people and I loved loved loved that there wasn’t an outrageous charge for the base board on a round cake (that has happened to me at other places… a lot!)
All in all I would definitely use them again. I saw that they had actual animal shaped cakes which is what first peaked my interest so now I’m thinking next time maybe an armadillo cake… kinda in the Steel Magnolia style? I’m weird I know, definitely would have to be red velvet though! :)
