Memo’s Pizza

For a small town pizza place it’s pretty great.
I went there with my family I was visiting in the area.
It’s probably not the best place for people with gluten allergies seeing as the only options on the menu for you are going to be salads. While the salads are quite large, they use mainly iceberg lettuce, while it is a popular salad lettuce it is not filling or nutritionally valuable.
Going along with portion sizes, everything on the menu is huge so don’t worry about that.
The family who owns the place is quite nice! Our family had quite a laugh with the owner. It’s perfectly acceptable for a small town pizza joint.
Also there’s free wifi.
Another small complaint would be there’s no music playing… ever? So it can get pretty quiet. (especially with family haha)

Thank you Jesus for this place! As a Jersey girl, not having a good pizza place felt like a small piece of my soul was missing. I’ve tried other pizza places in the area and they just made me sad. Sad that this is what represented pizza to people. My dad and I stopped into Memo’s on our way home from Spring Hope. We ordered a large pie with sausage and mushroom, a white pie and a Memo’s Special Calzone (chicken, ricotta cheese, spinach). It was all fresh and delicious. The only complaint was from my mom who wanted some oil on the crust. It is not a greasy pizza at all. So if you’re looking for that, I suggest brushing a little olive oil on the crust. I did when I reheated the white pie and it was awesome.
The staff is super friendly. The restaurant is quite large and clean. Literally, a 10 minute drive from Bunn if you take the back roads. And they might start delivering to Bunn/​Lake Royale if they get enough interest so they can hire another driver. Try it out– you will not be disappointed.

This area is so deprived of restaurants especially pizza. I was thrilled to see this place was opening up. Since being opened I have eaten in person on multiple occasions and gotten take out at least a dozen times. Their pizza, strombolis and wings are very good. I really hope they stay in business and I know I’m doing my part and voting with my wallet. The workers are very pleasant, the prices are decent and the selection is good.
