this restaurant has diverse menu and the price is fair enough. l like the dinning room well decorated and good mood. Also, the service was good and they were kind to hear from clients. my group enjoyed the dinner.

Went there for lunch yesterday. It was a late lunch so nobody was there. They gave my tea and banchan pretty quickly. I even tried substituting meats in my soft tofu soup. The server didn’t ask if everything is ok or refilled my tea. The tofu soup was ok nothing to rave about and I think the broth is not flavorful. If you live in the area this place is decent but next time I will trek further to Elkins park to go to Jong Ka Jib or Dubu for the same type of food.

Tumbled on this by accident. What a treat to have authentic Korean. The clay bowl was super heated so everything was piping hot. Loved the way the rice crisped up on the bottom. 6 different appetizers were included with lunch and the kimchi was superb. I will dine here again and again. Total for lunch was $ 10. Next time, the table prepared bbq for dinner.

My friends and I enjoyed our time there very much! There are certainly better Korean BBQ places, but you can’t beat the all you can eat aspect and the relaxed, non-hurried atmosphere. Definitiely try the mango soju!!!

Went there on 8pm and when we sit down to order, they were out of Galbi. Which were so disappointing. Everything was unavailable, from white rice, hot tea. Looks like they were packing up for closing early.

I went to Surah for All You Can Eat buffet and I read on Unilocal review(from 2014) that there is $ 25 all you can eat… since the review is from 2014 I called to make sure. The person who picked up said the deal still exist. When I arrived there the deal was not on the menu and the server told us the deal doesnt exist… I was definitely ticked off about that. There are $ 30 or $ 20 deals only. We got the $ 30 because we were pretty hungry and the food was great! The side dishes need some improvement but the meat was pretty good! As lot of the reviews say… this place does not have the best service but it is a korean restaurant so… you go for the food! Haha

I came here last night with a couple friends. It was probably my 3rd or 4th time this year eating there. The service started out pretty good. The food was pretty good as well. The reason for the 1-star was at the end of dinner. We paid the bill and we had crossed out the tip line because we had left the waitress the tip in cash on the table(20%). She thought that we weren’t going to leave a tip and got irate and with the most terrible attitude she said«Excuse me, you guys aren’t even going to leave a tip?» I was pretty disgusted when she said that. I doubt I’ll ever be coming here again.

Got the korean bbq. The price is very low compared to the surrounding places. For the price you pay, you get a lot of food. There are tons of options too! Service was a little slow, even on a slow day.

If you are a meat lover, don’t miss this one! Go for the full BBQ buffet and enjoy the thin cut steaks that taste excellent with the lettuce wrap. You can also order some Korean dishes too. The full buffet is more expensive, but you get a lot more. The down side is that service can be slow, especially during dinner time. Also, you probably would smell like a BBQ when you get home. My clothes got the smell stuck for several days before I have the chance to wash it. Enjoy!

Very good food, quality was amazing and so was the service. The manager often comes around to check up on the tables and he offers us free dishes such as cold noodles. Overall a pretty good experience especially for the price your paying.

Horrible service I gave one star coz there is no zero star Price for the all you can eat is very high but they took forever to bring dishes we ordered. almost 20 to 30 min apart after we ordered. Even if we ordered ahead of time they still brought it very late. I guess because we were ordering galbi alot which was usually expensive. Owner came to apologies but still each dishes served was very tiny bit. We ended up not eating much I will never go there again

The food was ok. We did the All You Can Eat Option 19.95 not much choices but doable. The spicy pork belly and the regular pork belly pretty much taste the same. Can’t even tell once it’s grilled bc the sauce isn’t saturated in the meat. It’s a very thick cut as well. The Chadol was ok, plain. The chicken was ok nothing amazing. The salad was good. I enjoyed my side dishes more than I did the meats. As for the service it was slow for us being the only table and many staffs around. They were very nice and helpful when asked for things. Had to ask for our tea to be refilled every single time. Overall it’s an ok experience. The ambiance is nice and clean décor. Otherwise if you want an ok time, this will be it.

Came here for the AYCE option. I had heard good things about this place from many people, and finally came to see what they hype was about. They had 2 options for the AYCE. One was for $ 20, which had a small list of meats that you could eat. And the $ 30 option, which had a much larger variety of meats, but for a group of 6 at $ 30 a head? i don’t think so. So we went with the $ 20. The bulgogi was decent, pork belly was mediocre, and the chadol was the only one that was pretty good. However, I wish there was more meat and less fat. I’ve never seen more fat on pork belly, and chadol in my life. Which decreases my desire to even try the $ 30 option, because if the quality of the meats were this low for the $ 20 option, would the $ 30 option meats be that much better? Service was ok. Nothing spectacular. Interior was decent. If I’m really, really craving Gogi, maybe i’ll give this a place a visit once in a while, but it’s not a weekly spot type of place.

In theory, they offer all-you-can-eat BBQ buffet… In reality, it is anything BUT! Their service was so S-L-O-W that it took 40 minutes before we got first tray of meat, and an hour before before we got glasses of water we had asked for. The noodles? We never got them… As for the food, it was overpriced but edible. What pleasure that could have been derived from it, however, was completely nullified and ruined by the agonizing dining experience. To add salt to to the injury, they denied the whereabouts of my iPad that I had inadvertently left at the restaurant when I called them to ask about it on my way back to the restaurant. When I ping’d the iPad(since it has cellular data capability) via the Find My iPhone app at the restaurant, I discovered it hidden deep inside one of their cupboards. Caught red-handed… They are thieves in more ways than one!!!

I came here the other day with family. I won’t explain the entire situation but pretty much we asked for the manager and the server shrugged her shoulders, rolled her eyes and said«really?!». Then went over to get the manager. She was very unprofessional. I don’t care how stressed you are with your job, you don’t show your annoyance to your customers. Udon was literally the noodles, broth, mushrooms and scallions. definitely not worth $ 8. It’s unfortunate to leave a bad review because our family knows the manager, but please teach your employees to serve with respect. Thanks.

Excellent Korean food – they really do a great job, except for the Pomegranate Soju which was so bad I can’t even summon a clever comparison to warm koolaid or dog pee. They do the bbq at your table thing but don’t have exhaust hoods so if the smell of meat offends you you will be offended.

My coworkers and I came here, me being the only korean I was used to cooking on the grill for korean bbq. Our waitress didn’t really come around too much since I took over the grilling so I took a star off because my table needed water but she didn’t really come around. Other than that, the meats were delicious and of typical ayce quality. It is ayce Sunday through Thursday, just ask for it. Couldn’t try the sushi bar because it was closed when we went but it sounded good. Other than that it was delicious and the manager and servers were nice(even if our waitress didn’t really come around often as our thirst would’ve liked).

There is a AYCE option but only has samgyupsal chadol pork bulgogi. The meat is pretty mediocre buffet style quality with fatty pieces of meat. Banchan is run of the mill. Service was OK nothing great we had to keep asking for water. Good gogi places will cook the meat for you but this place would only come around once in awhile to do it. OK option if you don’t want to go into the city for meat. Otherwise I’d go to another gogi buffet. Oh yea they use some electric grill thing and the plug is on the wall. The plug for some reason is piping hot which is sorta worrisome. Don’t wear shorts and sit near the plug!

This is a typical restaurant claiming to be a Japanese/Korean place operated by Koreans. The food wasn’t bad, but I’ve had better Korean and Japanese. The bonchon wings were ginormous, but it didn’t have that«twice-fried» texture. The sushi was decent, but the wasabi didn’t have it’s kick. The sindobu(hot tofu soup) didn’t come with many options and I found it a little on the bland side. I enjoyed the pah jeon(seafood pancake) — it was crispy, had large pieces of seafood, and the sauce was a nice touch. The service was decent. They were attentive, but didn’t go the full mile. We had a private room. And when I asked for water, the waiter would return and drop a couple cups off and a pitcher. He did not pour the water or even notify me that he dropped the cups off at the other end of the room. Overall, I don’t think it’s a bad place. But the prices are a little steep. I can dine elsewhere for a little cheaper and better food. By coming here, you’re paying for the upscale décor and BYOB option, which in itself could be worth it(Date night?). To each their own
