Surprised by negative reviews. We’ve had great experiences. I think the food is great — a step up from typical pub food. Pretzels and philly steak egg rolls are amazing and pizza is really good. And they carry cider which is NOT angry orchard! Bonus. We’ve gone with the kids a bunch and service has always been quick. The loud is good when you’re with kids too. We’ve also gone later without kids and never had an issue with service or cold food. We are regulars and will keep going back!

The Tap House has a decent craft beer selection on draft which was the main reason for my excitement of going. Food is typical pub food. Parking can be difficult; small lot & limited street parking. It gets very crowded & when it is, talking, even at a table is difficult. Sadly, that keeps me from returning. Had a waiter even say it was loud for them.

Oh my God, the burgers. Oh my God, the burgers. Oh my God, the burgers. Oh my God, the burgers. If anything has the word«garlic» in it, be certain that you like A LOT of garlic. Good atmosphere. Small parking lot. Warm fireplace. Now is my review long enough, Unilocal

Great PUB! Recently had our daughter’s wedding/reception at a nearby venue(walking distance) to the Spring Lake Tap House in New Jersey. The staff at the Tap House were excellent. Food was delicious! Late-night guests enjoyed themselves thoroughly. Zero complaints. Would definitely recommend this place for its Food, Atmosphere and Prices. Check it out soon!

The Spring Lake Tap House was A-OK in my book. We had to wait a bit for a table, but on a Saturday night, who doesn’t? The staff was helpful and receptacle. The food was good(nothing really excited me on the menu) — the beer selection was good– just an overall good experience– nothing over the top, but also nothing to complain about.

Felt like it was fair to update. Stopped in again last night. The bartenders were absolutely on point! Food is always good, and we literally stopped in for a drink and an app and ended spending our entire night at the bar! —— I hate doing this because a few of the bartenders I adore. However, most of the bartenders in this joint are just pathetic excuses. I paid $ 13 for a dry wrap that on the menu states«served with a side of house made chips». No chips to be found anywhere. I brought this to the attention of the worlds worst bartender who told me that sides were extra. I asked for a side of «volcano» sauce and the same horrendous bartender made some sorry excuse as to why he couldn’t get it for me and then suggested ranch dressing. Ultimately I grabbed another bartenders attention who had no issue grabbing me a side of sauce. Regardless of how silly it is to be arguing for a sauce or a side. I’m paying you for a service. So Bob at the Spring Lake Tap House, you don’t deserve a cent of my tip, nor should you have a job the way you treat your customers. Thank you for reminding me again why I don’t frequent the Tap House.

Very good beer selection. Knowledgeable staff and very accommodating. Food was average but presentation was above average.(see picture). Good location, but you are not going here for the«beach feel». It is more of a local place with semi locals stopping in. Cool atmosphere. Clean. Nice long bar with plenty of seating. Restaurant is newer and hopefully it stays around… nice little go to place. Some of these types of places(in that area) come and go… this has potential.

We come here regularly for happy hour. The food is great, but the HH menu is only sliders and pizza, otherwise this would be five stars! They also have a solid menu during football games. Drinks are cheap too. This is our go to place after work.

Came here on a weekday for lunch, and the food was great! The French Dip was very tasty, and they had a great beer selection.

Tried this place twice. Same experience both times. It’s only redeeming quality are pretty good nachos. Service is pretty bad, long food /drink wait times. Limited selection on beers. I lol’d when they served us a martini in a red wine glass?! what kind of hack is that?! Baking in the bar sunlight, It wasn’t even good enough to drink since it was luke warm and watered down. Atmosphere is ok, they made a good go at it but the delivery leaves a lot to be desired.

I’ll start with the good — it was a summer Saturday night so needless to say, all restaurants were packed. I was looking on Open Table and even SL Tap House didn’t have any availability until 9pm. We decided we would just stop in anyway around 7:45pm to see how long the wait was — and luckily they could seat us right away! It went down hill from there. When our waiter finally came over, we asked what kind of beer they had — and he said ‘oh — someone forgot to give you a beer menu. I’ll be back.’ This took some time. When we could finally order, I was told that they had run out of the local beer I wanted to try. The service was incredibly slow — from drink order to delivery — to taking dinner order to delivery. Once the waiter apologized and blamed it on another table who were ‘slow orderers’. I was willing to give this a pass as it was a Saturday night — and hey — they sat us right away! However, we had to ask the waiter SIX times to refill water glasses — my friend’s dinner was quite spicy and she really needed water. Each time he was asked, he acted as if it was the first time we asked. It was honestly getting comical. We also asked the bus boy one time as well. No one ever brought us water! In fact, the waiter finally came by with a beer that we hadn’t ordered and said ‘sorry — it was hard for me to get another one of these’. He left before we could say we didn’t want another beer but just wanted a glass of water. Of course, we were charged for that beer we didn’t order and were so fed up we didn’t bother to argue. The food wasn’t bad and the atmosphere has a bit of a rustic feel to it(although very noisy!). Definitely a big late night bar scene in the summer. I really wanted to like it so will give it another chance — but they really need to work on training their servers.
