This location is usually our stop for liquor due to its larger selection than what you find on post. Being an older woman I do not ever have to show my ID card in there. My husband and I decided to stop in the store this evening. It was a last minute trip and I just went along for the ride. He attempted to pay for our purchase with my debit card(same last name, same account). I have used his previously without issue. The assistant manager Jill, proceeded to tell us that we were unable to use the card without my ID even though he had his. If she had not been ridiculously rude about it, I wouldn’t have gotten as upset as I did, but her demeanor was absolutely terrible. I had to walk across the street to the drive thru ATM, withdraw cash walk back across the highway. If you are going to have this be your store policy, great, but maybe you should provide an ATM in your store OR not be rude about it. Either one would be helpful. We will not be purchasing our liquor here any longer, we will be sticking to the liquor stores on post.
