Awesome ice cream. Homemade and on point every time.

Great, great ice cream! My go-to place after a day at the beach, but I’ve also found myself here year-round. You can never go wrong with toasted coconut mixed with espresso mocha chunk.

This review is long overdue, however I had to make sure I gave Hoffman’s the credit it deserves. The ice cream and the selection is unmatched from anywhere I’ve been. My family and I almost made it a point to go to the beach so we would have a reason to grab ice cream on the way home. Family favorites were the coffee oreo, cookie monster, cherry vanilla, and mint chocolate chip. On top of that they proudly offered a military discount. We were truly thankful for that gesture and would certainly recommend this business to family and friends.

My brother just moved to the area and found this ice cream spot. We stopped by after eating a BBQ dinner. One of my most favorite ice cream places ever! It was pretty busy on a Saturday night, so be ready to wait a little. The taste was amazing! We got a bunch of different flavors(party of 8), and you can get 2 different flavors if you get 2 scoops! We definitely will be back next time we are visiting my brother!

Very nice place to stop for excellent ice cream… the staff provided a sample when requested and were very helpful… we decided to sit inside and eat out ice cream… it was very clean… Excellent ice cream…

Great stop if you are in the area! There was a line out the door of that is any indication. I had the espresso mocha chunk and it was rich and delicious! Try this place out! There are so many options!

Long lines, but well worth the wait. As many have said before, stick with the small because the portions are huge. I had the watermelon sorbet with chocolate chips. If you’re familiar with Friendly’s Wattamelon roll you will love it.

I finally made it to Hoffman’s while visiting Spring Lake. I sampled several yummy flavors by a sweet young man and had trouble deciding. Being a coffee lover, I finaly chose a scoop of expresso bean and a scoop of coffee Oreo cookie. Both made me nearly bang my head into the glass case with joy. My next trial tastes will be: coconut, peppermint, and strawberry cream. Make no mistake. This is the real thing, very creamy and bursting with flavor.

Long wait time during the summer months but it is worth the wait. My favorite is the espresso mocha ice cream. It has chocolate covered espresso bean in a mocha flavored ice cream. Good stuff.

Best Ice cream around; however, they need to clean the place! floors and rugs always look filthy; even in the«off» season!

You cannot enjoy the shore at Spring Lake without stopping at Hoffman’s. It is the BEST ice cream place hands down. Stopping here on the drive home is the best way to end your shore visit.

I hate to not give Hoffman’s five star rating because the ice cream is so delicious and homemade! The coffee oreo is my absolute favorite and there’s no other ice cream at another ice cream parlor like it. The service is good however they are way understaffed on summer nights and especially weekend nights. The staff seem extremely over worked and could use an extra hand or two which would make the grueling lines not as long. Also there’s no AC!

This was probably the first time I waited half an hour for ice cream but it was definitely worth it. The s’mores and banana ice cream were SO good. There are fluffy mini marshmallows in the smores ice cream. Definitely expect to wait a while when you come here on a weekend night.

Best ice cream on the jersey shore but let’s be honest, best ice cream I have ever had. Love this place.

The most disorganized place I have ever seen! The wait area is chaotic, the workers never seem to know if numbers are being used for customer orders. No evidence of any kind of management! Ridiculous! Not worth over an hour wait! They really need to get their act together!

What could be better than the Jersey shore and Hoffman’s homemade creamy ice cream? S’mores flavored, maple walnut, or coconut almond joy or strawberry bonbon? Which flavor to try? Maybe key lime. Their product is worth waiting on line for and sometimes the line is long, a good half hour’s wait. But you won’t regret it! There are waffle cones, sundaes and plenty of toppings like sprinkles and gummy bears for all the kids eating what looks like their best seller, the bright blue«Cookie monster«flavor which is like a cross between vanilla chocolate chip and cookie dough.

Jersey Shore Ice Cream… best there is. Hoffman’s is an adorable jersey shore ice cream palor. They have every flavor imaginable and the line goes pretty fast considering it’s usually out the door. Hoffman’s is my goto Jersey Shore ice cream place because of their«Cookie Monster» flavor. I am a big cookie dough and cookies N cream fan, it’s always a choice for my to decide which way to go. Well«Cookie Monster» is both flavors combined in one! PLUS and ADDED bonus, the vanilla ice cream is dyed blue… what is not to love?!

I went to the Spring Lake location and was instantly greeted by a wonderful young lady who could tell I was new to the area as well as her store. As she told me a little about the area, we then moved onto the real star… the homemade ice cream. They make all their own ice cream and they don’t skimp on anything. So many choices and she was so kind with letting me taste some of them before making my final decisions. I ordered the large(3 huge scoops) and decided on the almond turtle, the chocolate mocha something and the chocolate espresso bean. OMG they were so delicious and totally blew my calories. Don’t worry, I actually shared it with my husband. It was more than plenty. Perhaps I should have brought along another person just to help us finish it. Like I said, the scoops are enormously generous. The place itself is very clean and you can tell the locals truly love it there. If you go there, you get to scan your card and the more you go, the more rewards you can obtain. For instance, if you scan it 10 times, the 11th ice cream is free… or something like that. The town is great and the ice cream store is a wonderful addition to the town. I’m so glad we found this place as we were driving through. We will be back for different flavors. Yummy!

Omg. Chocolate ice cream with fudge, cake crunch and brownie. #bliss If you are in the Monmouth Beach area, Hoffman’s is the best ice cream parlor around. I’ve tried the Beach Plum and Sundaes but I’ll take Hoffman’s every time.
