Spring Lake Coffee House

I just tried to meet up with a client this afternoon and sadly they have closed and are no longer there.

Probably the best soy cappuccino I’ve ever had. It was reasonably priced, too (sometimes I end up with $ 6 coffees when I get soy milk), and the smaller size is pretty large. The barista was so friendly and recommended us a FANTASTIC ice cream place (I’ll review shortly). Although we got basic coffee, there was a huge selection of coffee flavors and teas. There were also a number of vegan meat-​like treats, which intrigued me because I have always wanted to try a slim jim or jerky, despite my mostly non-​meat-​eatingness.
The seating area was bright and clean, and the bathroom was good, too (always a plus). Definitely the kind of place every neighborhood needs.

Another coffee spot that I wish was in the city. Went to Spring Lake Coffee House last summer and loved everything about it. Not only is the coffee great but the service is fast and friendly. They also have locally baked goods — always a plus in supporting local businesses all around. And you check out on an ipad. How cool is that?

This place has a way better selection of drinks than any other. I can pick from tons of original lattes or make up my own– which is amazing if you get bored with the same old like I do. I love how they also have tons of iced coffees, smoothies, even kid friendly drinks like their original ‘liquid cupcake’ (which my 3 year old loves) and fresh squeezed lemonade (perfect while shopping). I go to SLCH every Saturday, I love it.
The best part? The people that work there are so cool… friendly and knowledgeable about the stuff they sell and make. If I am unsure, they help me by making suggestions according to my mood and taste– yesss!!!
I say everyone should go and support this local business. Check out the atmosphere, enjoy a drink, grab one of the many awesome books on the shelves and relax.

I can honestly say this is my favorite place to get coffee in New Jersey. Good coffee and smoothies, friendly staff. If you prefer Starbucks you are doing it wrong.

I really enjoy this place– just what 3^rd Ave needed! They have hands down the best coffee around (and a great variety) and great espresso drinks. I stop in to get coffee and a bite on my way to work most Mondays and I like to spend Saturdays and Sundays there as a general meeting place.
I also really like the smoothies in the summer!
