I can honestly say I’ve never had a meal I didn’t like here. Service is always good and attentive. Bartender can sometimes be outmanned at bar slowing drinks.

Two Tonys is one of the most unique dining experiences I’ve ever had, and I’m not sure that’s a good thing. This place seems to suffer from multiple personality disorder and, I think, should sort itself out on what it wants to be. Situated in a nice little neighborhood, in a decent strip mall(right next to ACE Hardware… odd), is Two Tonys. The initial impression both outside and once you enter the restaurant is one of impressiveness. This looks like a truly upscale joint, the food smells emanating from within are heavenly, and you get the feeling that you’re truly in for some kind of treat. Once inside the restaurant, over to the right you’ll see a lovely bar that looks like it was plucked straight from the Outlook hotel that is in The Shining. All that’s missing is the ghostly bartender. You get a decidedly mixed feeling of both Italian and Greek influence from the décor they’ve chosen — and I think that’s kind of this place’s schtick. I was in town helping a friend move, and I’ve got admit I felt a little out of place in my moving/gym gear giving the atmosphere of this place. I mean, hell, they even have a watercolor of ‘The Sopranos’ in the bathroom! We sat down and had a peek at the menu and the multiple personalities continued. Hardcore. While the décor lead me to believe this was Greek/Italian food(two that I can see meshing pretty well), the menu said something else entirely and I was feeling a little thrown off. Some of the strangest menu items I’ve ever encountered(or even thought of!) are on this thing and I sincerely viewed it as a challenge. Maybe that was part of the issue. I like different, unique things — so I was a little thrilled. I mean, for real, this place had Mexican, Thai, Greek, Italian, and even Japanese influences pretty plainly listed on its menu. The Italian influence seemed limited to a few select pasta dishes and pizza. The Greek was only truly evident to me by the gyro that was offered. Salmon quesadillas, Thai chicken wrap, Kobe beef hamburgers, crab cake sandwiches… and a myriad of salads. What the hell is going on here? I ordered the salmon quesadilla(living on the edge) and the rest of the crew ordered other various items from the varied menu. We were a fairly large group and our server handled us remarkably well considering the amount of people she had to tend to and the number of things she needed to keep straight in head, along with the weird menu and place she worked at. ;) All the food started to come out but I was left waiting. I wasn’t even the only one that ordered salmon quesadillas, but I was the only one waiting. Most folks were nearly completed by the time my dish came out and I was told that they simply«forgot to make it.» Uh, okay. My take on original menu items like the salmon quesadilla are, «if you’re going to do something strange like that, you better do it pretty damn well.» I’m sad to say it was underwhelming. Extremely. It basically kind of seemed like a grilled cheese with tortillas for the bread with chunks of salmon inside — and it wasn’t even particularly seasoned that well. Not to mention the southwest sauce that was its saving grace was a bit too runny and made one hell of a mess while eating it — turning these quesadillas into a definite knife and fork occasion. All in all, I’d pass if given the opportunity to stop again and wouldn’t actively recommend this place to anyone. The food wasn’t horrible, or even bad, but nothing I’d ever care to spend money on again considering I could easily make anything I saw on the menu there and it would probably elevate from underwhelming to «pretty damn okay.» Having said that, I can see its draw to the surrounding community — just don’t expect me to stop in when I’m visiting those friends I was helping move.

Love the fact that they offer Mediterranean from one Tony and Italian from the other Tony. Greek salad was loaded with toppings and very tasty. For dinner, tried the seafood pasta. Flavor was nice, but I would have preferred to have more seafood. Worth the drive from the lake.

One of the top restaurants in the area. Great wood stove pizza. I’ve never had a bad meal here. Nice atmosphere. Nice service. Decent wine selection.

Came to Two Tonys for my birthday, and I couldn’t believe I hadn’t been there yet. loved the salad and also the feta cheese spread! Unfortunately I did not choose the correct entrée for me(I decided to try out veal, I didn’t enjoy it). Otherwise, the ambiance was great and food tasted amazing. The price wasn’t outrageous.

Unlike some of the other Unilocal reviews, we had a good meal. Lots of food(we could have shared the main course), excellent appetizer. Salad had been in the cooler a few days too long as some of the lettuce was noticeably brown. A bit pricy.

Every things was great! The appetizers: Portabella stuffed mushroom(my favorite) and bruschetta were both excellent. For meals our family got the lasagna, chicken Parmesan and kids chicken fingers. The new style garlic bread with feta cheese spread was delish!

Everyone in our party of 6 enjoyed their meals, kids included. Big portions but not too big. Highly recommend.

Tried to like this place. Went three times. Had Italian twice and Greek once. Nothing special or memorable unfortunately. Pizza is just ok and was very limp and they cut it into little squares? Who cuts a round pizza into squares? I had the gyro also. Again it was ok but wouldn’t go back for it. Décor is nice and it’s very big with outdoor seating. Prices were quite high for what you get.

Service and drinks were excellent! Lasagna was good, French onion would have been better out of a can. Chicken Marsala was meh, bland and cannoli was The worst I ever had.

Complete disappointment. Went in thinking that I was in the mood for Italian but noticed they served a Delmonico rib eye. Usually if I go to a new restaurant and they happen to have a rib eye I’ll order that as my very first introduction entrée before ordering anything else. It’s just my way of thinking, that if an establishment can impress me with their steak then the rest of their food may be worth ordering next time I return. However, if they can’t get a rib eye grilled correctly then chances are they don’t have the skills to make much of anything else. Well, the rib eye was horrendous! The meat tasted old, pulled out of the freezer, microwave defrosted, and completely unseasoned! There was 1⁄3 grizzle through most of the cut. The only good thing was that I don’t think the meat was spoiled. The clam chowder was actually as good as advertised. The Caesar salad and bread was average, however the yogurt cheese spread was excellent. Service above average. Overpriced!!! Overall, lack of care with the meat killed my experience. It’ll probably be a long while till I return. Perhaps the pizza for redemption?

Lovely ! Came right at noon, everything was very good ! Décor, wait staff, and food. Silverware wasn’t wiped down. Not dirty, just water spots.

We’ve dined here a few times in the past month and found it to be very enjoyable. The staff is friendly and the service is timely. Each time the food has been well prepared and presented and the meal was timed properly. We will be back.

The restaurant is mostly adequate, although I feel like they are striving for an upper-class, fine dining atmosphere. I had the Filet Mignon and substituted my side for the risotto. The Filet was cooked perfectly and seasoned well, they certainly know how to cook a steak. However, the steak was on a large pile of fried onion rings and vegetables. The garnish didn’t taste bad but it just felt like it didn’t belong. I’ve never seen fried onion rings with steak and I question why a nice steak is presented this way. The risotto itself was cooked nicely(al dente) but well under seasoned. I wouldn’t call this place expensive but it certainly isn’t cheap. All in all, the place seems like an alright spot to grab a drink but needs a bit of help in the food department. Fine dining it definitely isn’t.

Always mixed experiences here with the food. We eat here once or twice a year and about 50 percent of the time we have a good experience and the other half not-so-much. Our most recent experience was OK but not great. We sat at the bar. My friend had the risotto special and it was good. I had the lasagna and it was not good at all. Thin layers of pasta and cheese with just a small amount of sauce spooned over the top. It was doughy and difficult to swallow. Like eating a chunk of raw pizza dough. I’ve had the Pork Osso Bucco and Italian Sausage Fr Diavlo and enjoyed them. The staff is usually friendly and efficient although we were there on a busy night one time and while being taken to our table by the hostess, one of our party was physically pushed out of the way by a waitress.

If I could give a zero star I would! Wow! So bad! Food was terrible. Ordered my steak medium rare it looked appropriate but was crunchy and 60% grizzle(gross fat)! They topped that on a bed of spinach which completely wilted and became a pile of green goo. My co worker had a salad that looked like Oscar the grouch threw it up. They melted cheese on her salad! WTF? Service was good. Unfortunately that doesn’t make up for what I actually paid for.

I can’t believe the positive reviews this place is getting. First off, let’s start with the dinners. If you like the taste of overly salty stale bread with olives baked in, then any of the overly cooked, extra dry and tasteless meats, then this is probably the place for you. Perhaps the creepiest feeling I had was watching the owner of the place watch the customers and his staff like he was some type of prison guard. At least smile and walk around and ask your customers how they like their food, warden! Oh, and you better bring a great deal of money because this place is very expensive! You can’t even get a salad for under $ 10.

Nice atmosphere, moderate service(had to ask for water on multiple occasions and I was at the bar), starting with the bread and butter that was requested(I got bread and a feta spread), the feta spread was intriguing but if your not into feta you won’t like it, requested butter, but got something that seemed like margarine. My caesar salad arrived and it met the level of a basic caesar salad but something seemed overly generic for the nice atmosphere of the place. My entrée Seafood Pasta arrived, looking excellent, the shrimp, scallops, mussells and even the pasta cooked just right. I was impressed as most restaurants overcook most pasta. On to the cajun cream sauce with what were very fresh grape tomatoes at which point my being impressed stopped. This was about as cajun as Ragu from your local super market. This dish was reasonably good because of the quality of the ingredients but where I expected exciting spicier flavor I ran into a general cream sauce that yes was neither too thick or too watery they were close to serving a great dish but where were the spices to bring this alive. I decided to take home half of this in the hopes of finding something interesting and some flavor in their deserts. I ordered the key lime pie and was pleasantly surprised by excellent flavors and nice balance of construction that made for an excellent desert. Unlike many pies the base crust was. just the right thickness and there was recognition of the intensity of flavor from the creamy filling quality being honored over quantity where sometimes something with so much flavor is made over thick. In this case just the right filling. The result desert a 9 or 9.5 out of 10. The end result a mixed experience that would bring me back because of general food quality but not due to that cajun crème sauce. Though prep was great and ingredients excellent, maybe if the ingredients had been lesser like many restaurants the sauce would have had to make up for it a bit funny the irony.

Just a great place in a town we’ve never been in before. A friend took us there and it was delightful. I had the evening’s special which was shrimp dish, pasta and great veggies in a sauce. Goodly amount and delicious. Nice wine list with very good selection. Waiter was excellent with good knowledge of food and wine. I have pretty good working knowledge of wine having been a wine seller for about 40 years. The owners came over and introduced themselves and were kind and courteous. Bread and Olive oil were very good. Nice ambiance and easy to find. Reasonable prices on both food and wine. Would like to return and will in future.

Great service, Italian & Greek inspired food. Attended a wedding rehearsal here. The staff was attentive, prompt, and personable. The appetizers were delicious. DELICIOUS! Loved the wine selection. Excellent Moscato. The private room wasn’t quite large enough for the size of the party, but they were accommodating at making space. I would also recommend bringing kids the kids food first. They were served last & a little anxious, but overall it was a great experience.
