Don’t let the looks of the place scare you. Passed through and enjoyed a great meal. Portions are plenty to share and the staff was friendly.

The food lacked passion, excitement, or authenticity.
Of the four different dishes we ordered, the sauces all tasted bland and the same. The chicken tasted day-​or-​two rubbery old. No spice or heat. Nothing was elevated. Felt like the chef was phoning it in.
My wife and I wanted the food to remind us – even a little bit — of the home cooking we’re accustomed to from our 3 years in China.
Asian Bistro missed the mark. They should be ashamed of serving this Americanized food. Give us a thrill and cook for the public like they’re your family.
Until that happens, if it ever does, we won’t be back.

The quality of the food is great and very consistent! Take out is always quite fast from placing the order to pick up. We love the Vietnamese spring rolls, chicken fried rice, lo mein and General Chicken. A must when craving Asian flavors on this side of the Cities

Being one of the only places in the area with decent food, we order here a lot but if you plan on picking up be prepared to wait an extra 5 – 15 minutes. 20 minutes typically means 30 which is usually fine but it’s a little frustrating when they treat you like you showed up early and are an inconvenience.

Owner bends over backwards for us. A. We love spicy food, we get it made Thai hot. B. We do low salt, we get it MSG free and as close to salt free as you can get in restaurant food C. I am a Nutritarian and she makes my veggie egg foo yung with no gravy. D. We are picky and she leaves out the baby corn on everything for us. It’s like having an Asian Mom cooking for us.

rubber chicken /​asked for very sipcy and not even a hint was given /​fried rice was only rice no peas, onion, sprouts, NOTHING. this place is trash

This is a great little asian place for the west suburbs. The food is always good, the owner is friendly and remembers anyone that comes more than once. Definitely get the egg foo young — by far the best I have ever had.
