My father and I came up here from Maryland for the 2014 Pennsylvania Speedweek show. Talk about a cool place. This old quarter mile dirt oval provided some of the best 410 sprint car racing I’ve seen in a long time. The facility is warn down, but that just adds to it’s character. The only complaint I had was the lack of restrooms for the amount of people, although I give them a pass since it was a record crowd at the facility that day. If you are in the area traveling on the PA Turnpike on a Friday or Saturday night, stop on in and see some good short track racing. You won’t regret it.
