Great place to go. Friendly shop with great barbers. If you want to have a good cut then this is the place to go.

If it wasn’t for the dude Sam who cut my hair I would have given it one star.
One star subtracted for the price, my hair had a bit of long so I was told it was gonna be extra so I thought «what’s another 5 dollars right? Nope. All together the cut was $ 22 which in my opinion is too much for 30 minutes of work but whatever.
Now what made me rate the 2 stars was because of an older barber. When I came in he was the only one working & he was finishing up a gentleman’s hair cut, he took off the paper from his neck & brushed him off & at that moment another man came in who was obviously a friend of his because he acknowledged him by name & asked him his how he was doing. He then proceeded to stand behind the man who’s hair he was cutting & wasted 30 minutes cutting air around his head just to kill time so that I would get Sam when he finished & he could get his friend. Really? Poor dude kept getting phone calls & he would say «just a few more minutes» that happened like twice, the barber didn’t care though. Talk about work ethics, if you don’t want to work on somebody at least have the decency to say «my worker is going to take care of you when he’s done I’m going to help this man here» I wasn’t going anywhere either way
So if you’re gonna come here ask for Sam he’s great & he uses actual razors for detail which I personally haven’t seen too much; I personally won’t be returning

I took my 3 young boys to get much overdue haircuts today. This was our first visit to Angel’s Barber Shop. Good prices, professional quality cuts, friendly service, a comfortable waiting area, they turned to the Disney Channel when we walked in, & handed out Blow Pops at the end. We couldn’t be happier and will certainly return.

My husband has been coming here for 5 years!!! He usually has Sam cut his hair. Sometimes they are closed and he has to get his hair cut and goes else where and we always regret it. Sometime the line can be long but if you have the time, it’s a great cut and a great price!

My old barber was lagging on me and I needed a cut asap. Angel was not only fast but good clean cut! Def will go back again. I got a taper with a lineup and my beard trimmed and linedup. All for 15. Shot the homie a 20 tho! Cuz it was that crisp. My go to shop when in need of a cut. PS. Don’t be afraid of new barbers. Thats how you know who’s good and who isn’t.

Came here a few weeks ago and I had a great experience. I had the privilege to have my hair cut by Angel. Great service and even better prices! Told him what I wanted and he cut it perfectly. I would highly recommend this place to anyone nearby.

I’ve gone here many times, great cuts, great guys. Sam usually cuts my hair, he’s a great guy, always does a great job. The best in Spring Valley.

I’ve been visiting town for a few weeks, and needed to find a place to get a nice STRAIGHT RAZOR SHAVE on both my face and head.
I normally shave myself every couple days, but once in awhile it’s really nice to have a Pro do it!
Well…Sam was a Pro for sure! I got there a little before they were going to close up for the day, but he got me in the chair right away, and for to work! NOT RUSHED! And a very good job! No nicks, cuts, or scrapes… but just a clean close shave!
His razor was SHARP! Which isn’t always the case, and his technique was very good!
If you’re looking for a shave, give them a try!

Great guys… Fast and good… love the straight razor shave with a hot towel just like when I was a kid watching my dad get his haircut and shave… Me and my son r there once a week to get cleaned up… The guys always make u feel at home…

I’m from Chicago, and we take pride in our choice of barbershops. My uncle recommended me to this one when I first moved out here 3 years ago. I’ve been going ever since. Funny guys, and easy to talk to; and if you know ANYTHING about barbershops, if they’re able to give you a fresh cut within minutes on a weekend, that’s some fantastic service. 5 stars!

I didn’t see any reason to not give this place any more than 4 stars. Nothing amazing, just good cuts and good conversation. The barbers were very polite and were good at sparking up conversations. Walked in on a Saturday and I was in a chair within minutes.

My Hub and my two toddlers got their haircuts here today. This place is old school and these guys know what is up! The shop had three barbers and each one of my guys had their seat at the same time. I wish I had my camera. Watching these guys cut hair is hypnotizing. Skilled! My 2 yr old is shy and had some tears. His barber gave him dum-​dum lollies and dried his tears. Awwww! Patient and kind. I hear he is well known for this so take your younguns there for sure! My 4 yr old looks like Elvis 1956. So cool! My Hub has a weird egg shaped head and they knew how to cut it short and make it look GOOOOOD. The pomade is the bomb! Smells like heaven. I LOVE this SHOPPE! 10 bucks a head. Pomade is 10 bucks too. This place reminds me of the old time barber shops in Tijuana where they really know how to use scissors.
