Deliziosa Pizza and Restaurant

Every time Ive come here for a slice i have not been disappointed. They have many different kinds, my favorite being the chicken bacon and ranch. You can smell the garlic from the parking lot. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone for a great slice or specialty slice.

I have been shopping in the plaza for over a couple years and tonight decided to give this place a try. The service is very friendly and fast. They have excellent pizza and garlic knots. I had been looking for rice balls for quite some time now and finally found them here. They were excellent also. I’m looking forward to bringing my family here over the weekend. The Pizza display is gorgeous. I think this is a family restaurant.

Ordered a regular slice and a Caesar slice, male teenager put a regular slice in the oven and told me I could sit down and he would bring the slices to me. 10 mins pass, nothing. See him bring some food to others at a neighboring table and figured he was juggling a few orders. Another 5 mins go by and no one is at the counter. Finally when it reaches 20 mins I go back to counter. Teenage female worker is flirting w police officer completely ignoring customers. Older bus boy asks if he can help and I explain there should be two slices I’ve been waiting on. He opens oven… Absolutely no slices in the oven. He offers to throw a slice in but I explain there was a second slice and both should be long done. Finally the blonde comes over and says she was wondering why they had an extra slice… wondered but never thought to check w any of the five customers waiting? She said it would be 10 mins for the Caesar slice. Come on, it’s Friday night and this isn’t rocket science. Walked out and won’t be going back. Only gave 1 star to post review but doesn’t even deserve this 1 star. Terrible service.

I placed a simple call over the phone for a pick up. «Chicken Parmesan over linguine». The call taker stated, «no problem anything you want. Went to pick up the food, then was told, «sorry we don’t have linguine». Never even offered me anything else. I Left starving. :(

I’ve lived in Spring Valley for almost 30 years and Rockland my whole life. I remember this place opening up when i worked at the Gamestop next door. All of you posting how great this place is are either friends of the owner or delusional. The owner is a guy and he has his daughter «manage» the place so of course she fancies herself the owner («horrible bosses» scenario). She pretends to be all nice when you’re buying but when they make a mistake, she turns into the most immature, unprofessional, and unacceptable person I rarely encounter in a restaurant. I’m a restaurant manager myself in a real restaurant in an international corporate hotel. She would have been fired on the spot for handling my situation the way she did. Then these mom & pop shops wonder why less and less people go to them. My spouse and I actually went here quite a bit because we like one of the pasta dishes. They do make mistakes occasionally that we forgive but today was the final straw. I brought home my pick up order and half of it was WRONG AGAIN! This time I called to speak to the owner regarding the consistent mistakes and the «manager» (aka daughter) refused to let me talk to him. She told me the only person that I needed to talk to is her, with a patronizing attitude, and said they would not deliver the correct order because they are too busy. I told them to credit it then. She said she couldn’t because their system isn’t set up that way. She said she could only credit the whole thing or nothing at all. She told me to come back for the food. I refused and demanded a refund. After an extended and unnecessarily prolonged argument over $ 20, she claimed she would credit it all anyway. I actually had to call the bank and put stop payment on the charge and opened a claim just to be sure! This behavior is typical when you have family working for you instead of hiring REAL employees. It seems like the owner spent all his money on tiles and empty tables and chairs instead of hiring a good staff. These people are ideal candidates for one of those restaurant makeover shows!!! So if you want to take yourself and your family to a place that’s in the worst shopping center in the county… Beware of all the crackheads still trying to pawn their playstation 2 next door for $.50 and then be careful not to get raped or mugged in the parking lot by gangbanging hoodrats. It’s the only strip mall in Rockland that actually has a private security guard driving around with his little yellow light. He won’t save you because he’s too busy smoking crack parked next to the bushes at Burger King! Oh and everyone knows the best pizza in Rockland is at Nanuet Hotel or B-​Balls Meatballs in Suffern, which also has the best, coolest, and most unique meatball heroes ever!

Lol Im literally obsessed with this place. There food and the staff are great. Everytime I go there they’re always so polite and friendly. Highly recommended!

They have a nice little place, don’t get me wrong. However the supposed owner is a complete b**ch. She was very rude and not very inviting. The pizza was okay, very greasy and salty. To be honest, the best part of the whole place is the waitress who probably makes $ 5 an hour, very nice girl. Other than that, this place sucks. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

it is very good pizza, is it the best? well i havent had them all in the area, but it was highly recommended by two different people from two different places ive encountered, so there is that, but that aside, i will say this was pretty good. right by my hotel and target, so if your in the area, i recommend it.

If you like your pizza really really salty then this is for you! I ordered their meat lovers version which had pepperonis and sausages and its by far the saltiest pizza and oiliest i’ve had. Out of 4 people who had the pizza, only 1 greatly enjoyed it. Im aure there are others who like em salty, then this is for you. Place is big with tables and clean but their name is entirely subjective.

I have only eaten the pizza here but it is hands down the best pizza in Rockland. Also, the owner is really nice.

The pizza here is very good. We went to eat on two separate occasions after visiting another store in this mall and was pleasantly surprised by the quality. On both occasions, the service was great. After ordering the pizza, it was brought to our table. I had the veggie slice on our first visit and the Nonna slice on the second visit. Also, had a bite of the regular slice and it was equally delicious. If the circumstance is appropriate, I would definitely visit each time I am in Rockland County.

My wife brought home a pie from Deliziosa it was very good. I would go back again.

I’ve been here a bunch of times for lunch and dinner and it has yet to disappoint. I have tried a variety of their pizza’s (plain slices, personal pies, thin crust pizzas, specialty slices) as well as platter dinners like spaghetti bolognese, chicken francese, angel hair pasta with meatballs. Everything was delicious. To start, I have a freshly prepared soup, or a crunchy house salad. Then choose between one of the many pastas or maybe make it a pizza night. The staff is extremely friendly, attentive, and the atmosphere is cozy and casual. Bring your family, or go by yourself, and you will be sure to leave full and satisfied. This place is highly recommended, and can’t imagine getting pizza from anywhere else since coming here!

I just recently moved out of the city and here to Rockland so I am a pizza snob. That being said, this is a good pizza place. For Rockland or anyplace else it is good. The pizza tastes great, the place is clean, the tables and booths are comfortable and the staff is super friendly. I have only given the place a try twice and the first time was to go, I am glad I stayed this time.

Went 2 times to get a pizza and both times even in a place that was ¾ empty nobody came to counter so I just left. I mean there was no excuse for unattentive behavior especially when you are new and seeking business.
Then one time went and was able to get a pie-​It was a desperation night so we gave the place a try.
Pretty bland pie with little to no taste and thats the end of this story and place for us.
Sometimes you give a place a shot and it works-​sometimes-​not.
This did not.
Its kind of on a par with Costcos famous cardboard pizza.
ITS NOT DELICIOUS-​A!

I’ve eaten here twice now — the first time, and the last time.
First time I had regular cheese pizza slices. They were so-​so, nothing special.
Second time I had lasagna (to go). It was a disaster. First, they overfilled the takeout container with sauce to the point that it leaked out, soaked through the bag, and got on my shirt. It was a complete mess to open up when I got back to the hotel I was staying in as well. To top it off, it was way overcooked and soggy, drowning in sauce to the point that the layers wouldn’t even attempt to stay together. It’s not a far stretch to say that I ate noodle, meat, and sauce soup.
Sadly, they were closed by the time I realized all of this, so I could not make them aware or have it remade. However, if I find myself in that area again, I’ll just go to White Castle. I’ll regret the gastronomic distress less.

The pizza here is easily the best I’ve ever had. Friendly staff, clean and just delicious. Also recommend the chocolate gelato.
