This place was awful! First and last time every going! 1 star is too generous! I went there for a routine eye exam for glasses and contacts, which was supposedly covered by my insurance when I spoke to the receptionist on the phone. When I got there, I was completely ignored and was chastised by the woman there about how my insurance didn’t cover anything! She was incredibly pushy and rude, and I felt very uncomfortable and unwelcome. When I finally got into the exam room, it was old and outdated. The optometrist was nice but very slow and didn’t really seem to care. He was also very pushy, trying to get me to increased my prescription even though I didn’t feel comfortable. He didn’t listen. He then continued the exam with a personal phone call while I was still there! Finally, when it came time to pick out glasses, the rude woman again explained to me that my insurance didn’t cover the frames(which she said they did over the phone), and since I got the exam I had to order glasses. I showed them the exact glasses I currently owned, to visually show what I was interested in. She literally pulled out so many glasses that were nowhere similar to what I wanted! And all the frames were so cheap looking and flimsy and she wouldn’t tell me the price of them until I settled on a pair. Finally the pair I picked, with very few options, cost me $ 185! These were no name flimsy plastic frames that looked and felt cheap. And lenses were an additional $ 175! The bill was so much higher than I was expecting since she wouldn’t tell me the price for each portion of my visit, and instead gave a huge lump sum plus no prescription. They literally have no idea what they’re doing! I would never recommend anyone going there! This is a poorly run, uncomfortable place that charges way too much for such bad quality!

The doctor was nice but the equipment and the office itself looks old and outdated. The receptionist, whatever her name is, has a bad attitude. When I walked in she was too busy to even notice, and by busy I mean texting. She points to the clipboard and tells me to fill it out, and when I was done I went to hand it to her and she was still busy texting and doesn’t even bother to look up. Not to mention when I called to make the appointment, she was very short with me and acted like I was keeping her from something. Let me guess. TEXTING? Lastly, when I was trying on glasses, again she was very rushed and made me feel like I had to hurry up and pick something already. I will not be going here again. Despite the doctor being nice, it’s not worth it. That receptionist should be fired. One week later: I paid $ 125 for my glasses. I got them a week later, not 3 days later like I was told. When I googled the frames, I find that they cost $ 20. The last eye doctor I went to(using the same insurance I have now) didn’t charge me anything for my glasses, and now I see why. They actually charged me market value, not 6 times over like this place. I will never go here again. Oh, and I had to go back for the prescription because the receptionist didn’t give it to me when I picked up the glasses. Which, by the way, is ILLEGAL.
