Our favorite place! We come here for any specials and when we crave an amazing pizza. Chef Charlie has a pizza oven and his pizzas are our favorite and better than any all over Houston. The crust has a great flavor with olive oil and he makes it perfect with it thin, crispy edges, lil burns where it bubbles, and foldable slices. We’ve tried the red and white, sausage n peppers, and italian. Our favorite way is the red & white and add pepperoni. His burgers — most are served on his homemade English muffin buns. I really can’t pick a favorite as all of his burgers are so tasty and it depends on what you are craving. Yes, I have tried all 6 plus many specials. Today, we got his Prime rib sandwich. Thinly sliced and sautéed in garlic butter, served on a warm bolillo with sautéed onions and cheese. This had a good garlic beefy flavor, though I wished there had been more cheese.

Local business serving up delicious burgers & pizza. It’s inside a climbing gym, so don’t let that throw you off. Where do I start? Everything they use is fresh. From the bun to how the burger was cooked was perfect. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and have a fantastic meal and promote a local business!

Pretty cool place to stop for lunch on your work day. It is in a rock climbing gym, so definitely a different atmosphere! Tables are tiny and we squeezed four people, but we could not have had another person. Food was good, but a little on the expensive side for what you get. I’d visit again if I were in the area.

I got the classic burger and I have to say I was impressed. The burger had the right amount of flavor with the sauce. The English muffin bun really works well with the burger. The veggies in the burger taste really fresh including the pickles. The patty was a good size patty as expected. The staff were definitely friendly and the chef(I assume) actually passed out fresh powdered sugar Beignets for us to try while we were eating.

Wow, don’t let the location scare you. Even though it’s in the climbing gym and has limited seating the food is unbelievably good. I had the Farmers Burger and it was epic!

My wife and I stopped at 5 Ate Café for lunch. We each tried the Smoky Bison burger. The burger consisted of a freshly ground Bison and Prime Angus Chuck patty, covered with aged Provolone and Smoked Cheddar Cheese, grilled red onions and cherry tomatoes with a tangy Sriracha mayo nestled atop crispy sweet potato tots and baby Arugula. It comes served with a small order of fries or side salad. The fries were fresh out of the fryer and very hot(temperature). They had just the right amount of salt. Typically, I have to add salt to my fries but surprisingly, I did not add any additional. The Bison burger was DELICIOUS!!! With each bite, you tasted every flavor component of the burger. The Sriracha was just the right amount of spice. Not too much, but enough to let you know it was there. The crispy sweet potato tots were a very nice add. I love sweet potato fries, and to have them sitting atop of the burger was the icing on the cake. Chef Charlie did it again with this beyond expectation, flavor adventure!

The food is fantastic, just wish I could enjoy it without the terrible acoustics of a rock climbing gym… yes, I knew where I was going, but was hoping for a little separation between the two environments. Very tasty food though.

It doesn’t look like much but their food is great and so is their service. We asked for some Parmesan for our pizza and the girl who was working the register came out and grated some fresh. We got the ult-veg pizza and butter kale burger.

Wow!!! We were passing through town, looking for somewhere to eat. As usual we hit up Unilocal for help! We found this place and read that it was in a rock climbing center. Don’t let the place fool you… The Chef/owner and his team are amazing at what they do! We had the smoked bison burger, the farm house burger and the pepperoni pizza! My mother in law is allergic to Gluten and this place offers gluten free buns. Which made it a hit! I can say with confidence that everything is fresh and tastes amazing! Highly recommend this place!

Came here last Friday for a quick burger with my husband. We both ordered different ones and were extremely happy with the quality and overall taste of our burgers. I think mine was the classic– it was HUGE and absolutely delish. Will definitely be back when I get another burger craving.

Unique sandwiches and burgers. Go for a climb and grab a bite to eat before leaving! Great place. I would say that seating is quite limited however…

Only got the burger so not sure about the pizzas yet. Foods good, if a bit pricey($ 10 at the very least) Atmosphere is great with the café next to a bunch of rock climbing walls. Only open 11−4pm and the address puts you on the wrong side of Louetta and 1⁄3 a mile away. It’s inside the inSPIRE Rock gym.

I tried this place based off of rave reviews on Unilocal.I got the Bison burger and fries and the peach ginger tea. Everything was pretty good, except the burgers are pretty thick and wasn’t cooked well enough to my likening. If you’re ordering burger be sure you order with the doneness to your likening. I waited only about 5 or so minutes before my food was ready. Overall cool spot to try eccentric combinations of burgers and pizza.

Really enjoyed trying this place. And no, I’m not a rock climber and you don’t have to be either . I tried the Farmhouse burger and was in heaven. Fresh, moist burger topped with cheddar cheese, pork, and a fried egg… wasn’t sure it sounded good, worried it would be too messy, but decided to throw caution to the wind and try it. This burger was a medley of Yum and try not to moan out loud cuz it’s just so good. Yes it was messy, but worth every napkin for finger and hand clean up after eating every scrumptious bite. Can’t wait to go back to try different burgers and fries!

Pretty legit burger spot in the most unusual place. You can’t help but watch all the climbers while devouring a burger. I ordered the farmhouse and found it to be very flavorful with a house-made muffin(for the bun), a freshly ground angus beef patty(which was actually a few small rectangular chunks of beef), roasted pork belly, fried egg, white onion, lettuce, tomato and their special café sauce. It was quite delicious. I added a fry basket for $ 3, but if you want a smaller amount of fries, it’s only $ 2 extra. The fries did not taste freshly cut, but they were still decent. Basically if you’re craving a burger in the Spring area, you should definitely check this little café out(inside the rock gym) and experience their«gourmet» burgers. My only complaint is that the burger is a little on the small side, since I prefer my burgers to be around ½ lb or more. You will need to add a patty if you are hungry and want more beef($ 4 more). They also have artisan pizzas, sandwiches, a salad and coffee type drinks if you don’t want a burger. If you are a fan of hot sauces, they carry about 30 different hot sauce bottles behind the register that you can take to your table and add to whatever you like. I recommend the ghost pepper-habanero sauce that is made by Hot Line Products out of Spring, TX(to dip your fries in since the fries are a bit starchy). There are only about 6 or 7 tables to sit at.

Best burgers and pizza in the area. I travel past dozens of other places to eat at here. In-house ground beef, homemade bread, and friendly, talented(know how to cook) staff set this place apart from the plethora of mediocre chain restaurants. Personal favorite is the farmhouse burger. The pizzas are amazing as well.

Every time I visit this place, I am more and more impressed! Chef Charlie is a culinary genius and I still can’t believe that this caliber of food is being produced in a rock gym! I attended a tasting and was treated to 6 sliders of his best burger creations made on homemade English muffins. My favorites are the peppercorn burger with a delicious cognac cream sauce and the Shar-warma which is turkey burger with feta and tzatziki sauce. Last week, I wanted to try something a little different so I started with an amazing Caprese salad, followed by Pork belly tacos, and an Italian pizza topped with pepperoni, capicola, and sopressata. The pizza was so delicious that I ordered another one the next day, only I added thyme roasted mushrooms and feta cheese. I’m so glad this place is close to me because I will be back many more times! Maybe one day I’ll actually rock climb instead of stuffing my face watching other people, but I doubt it.

This place was a big surprise! You think you’re going into an indoor rock climbing center, but to your left is a fully functioning café open to everyone! My friend and I met Chef Charlie, and he was so nice and accommodating. Since the School semester has started, breakfast has been a very slow time for them, so there was nothing ready for us. However, Chef Charlie offered to make us a nice breakfast sandwich with his handmade English muffins. how many chefs do you know do that? He is the first for me, and to top it off, the food was awesome! The white cheddar along with the egg omelette and bacon all sandwiched in between an English muffin was exactly what I needed! He also, as another employee told me, drips his own coffee. It was so awesomely tasteful :)
