Beauty Essentials

This place is one of my favorite places to go once a month. Patti is the owner and is the best of the best. Dusty is amazing and such a sweet, beautiful young women. The facials will make you look your best and are farily priced. Lots and lots of great unique products offered for sale.
If you have not had a chance to visit Beauty Essentials, you are missing out!

I went to Rachel for the second time. The first cut was good. She takes her time. This time I went in asked for 2 inches to be taken off. I left with my hair 9 inches shorter. My husband measured it. The back of my hair was past my shoulders and now I have less than a quarter of an inch. I am very disappointed. I left a message to let Patricia know about the cut. I didn’t say anything while I was there because I had to keep calm. Great salon for everything else. Good products. Patricia knows her clients and what is best for them.

I am reluctant to give this salon so many stars because I don’t want it to get too busy!!! But I can’t help it, darn it! They earned it.
I strolled in just to let them see the deplorable condition my nails and hair were in and to make an appointment in the future. To my surprise, I was told that if I didn’t mind waiting while Rachel finished styling her current client’s hair, she would be happy to take me. WHAT?! Awesome!
While I got my hair highlighted to the most beautiful blonde I have ever seen, the owner and her daughter soaked the thick, caked on acrylic I had been trying to grow out for almost a month now. Although, they were not able to do my nails, Dusty went ahead and buffed them and put a strengthening coat on them so that when I go back next Wednesday, they will be in much better condition.
By the way, it was naptime for my three year old daughter and the entire staff PLUS clients were so sweet to her. They shared their Chik Fil A and gave her a lollipop for her «good behavior» and when she fell to sleep on my lap, Rachel happily worked around her.
I just cannot say enough nice things about this place. They do hair, skin, nails, teeth and body. One stop beauty shop. I am now their newest biggest fan! Can’t wait to bring my Mom here and my daughter and have a three generational spa day and then go for tea in Old Town Spring afterward.

The first time I went in for a manicure with Dusty, she was great! Dusty was very friendly and took her time which I really enjoyed. I decided I wanted to give this place a shot since it’s close to work. Big mistake! I feel bad for writing this review because Rachel (my hairdresser) was a sweet girl but she really damaged my hair. I asked for a balayage and that was definitely NOT what I was given. I had to have her fix my hair 3 times within a week and the end result was GREEN hair! It’s the day before thanksgiving and I will have to go over to my in laws with green hair I didn’t want my money back just for it to be corrected but after seeing my hair green the third time I was definitely not letting her touch my hair again. I haven’t had my hair dyed in 3 years because I was afraid of trusting someone and being disappointed which is what I explained to Rachel when I first sat in her chair. I’m only writing this review to warn others of what can happen. I paid $ 115 and they gave me back $ 100 because Rachel used a deep conditioner in her third attempt to fix my hair, I never asked for the deep conditioner but what ever, this was just a lesson learned. Don’t let her filters on the pictures fool you! Have a blessed day.

There is no better place, I have been going here exclusively for all of my beauty needs for over a decade, as have my daughters. Rachel is the best colorist I have ever had, she listens to what I currently want and the color and cut are awesome every single time! Patricia is the most knowledgeable person in the beauty industry I have ever met, she keeps up with all of the latest research and products and knows exactly how to help you take care of your skin. I get a facial once a month, and I won’t let anyone else touch my nails. Dusty is awesome with makeup, she recently showed me how to change my look to better accentuate my aging skin with better products and different makeup application. I’ve never had a bad experience at Beauty Essentials, and they are more affordable than lots of other places around!

Rachael is a wonderful hair dresser, she keeps up with all the latest trends. I always leave the salon feeling wonderful. Patricia is so knowledgeable about all her products. She is also the only person I allow to do my eyebrows. If you have not been to Beauty Essentials you need to go!

Thank you so much for a memorable night! My hair and makeup was on point and I never felt so beautiful! I had so many compliments all night thanks to your amazing team! Can’t wait to go back for a girls day!

This place is my little getaway! Everyone is super friendly and knowledgeable. I literally feel like a celebrity when I leave because of how great they make me look and feel. Rachael has done miracles with my hair! I was in tears my last visit with how gorgeous she made my hair! I seriously can’t wait to for my touch up!

Beauty Essentials is THE salon/​spa to patronize if you need professionals with a heart to help you achieve your best look. Patricia, Rachel and Dusty stay up on the latest looks and techniques in nails, hair and make-​up. And the spa is absolutely top notch.

The best shop, I’ve been a customer for 14 years. The staff has tons of knowledge about nail, skin and hair care. I look great after every visit!
