Compass Bank

Horrible location! I’ve been a compass account holder for years! I have NEVER been so upset as a customer. I went in for temporary checks. I ask the girl for a page of checks. I told her that I’m even willing to pay for them. She said no problem went to the back for a couple of minutes, then came back to say that she could not issue checks to me since I had only $ 100 in my account. What does that have to with anything?! I ask to speak to a manager. The manager came over and I heard the little girl telling the manager that it could bounce. Really who are you to presume what my intentions are?! I was pissed by this point because all they have to do is press print and I’d be happy and on my way. I asked for the branch manager. She told me that they could not print checks to anyone. I told her that is not what they told me. She said sorry and that she could not grant my request. I told her that I was going to close my account then. She said okay, walked me to the tellers and told them to give me money. Can you believe that! I’ve been with compass for over 10yrs and they were willing to let me go for a piece of paper printed from their printer, that only has 3 checks to my account!!! I went down the street and they gladly helped me. They saved me as a customer! I will NEVER RETURN TO THIS LOCATION AGAIN!!!
