A blessing to say the least to find these guys & this shop. I’ve been coming here for about over 3yrs now and feel very comfortable with this place & entrusting them with my car needs. I definitely appreciate their honestly in giving me the reality of what is wrong or not with my car. If there is a problem/​s found, Christian is pretty straighforward on how urgent it is or not to fix my car. Definitely, much respect for what he does & his staff. :)

I dread the day I have to go to a mechanic. I know some about cars, and like to shop around. I’ve had places in the past try to dupe me and I’m over being on edge on weather to trust what mechanics say. This place is great, kinda far for me, and not the cheapest, but the work is right and the people are friendly and helpful. Thier digital which speaks to my language, they have digital check ins and email reminders. Overall thier a win in my book, thier a little far and the parking sucks at best, but neither is really relavent to good service and peice of mind.

You can’t find better costumer service! Had an issue and the owner came to my house personally to fix the problem! Will be back!

Been there twice for routine maintenance and won’t go anywhere else. The folks are very friendly. The quote contains pictures of the things they check. They took me to get a rental and even returned the rental car for me.

Great, Honest service, Christian (owner) really cares about his customers and you’re not just a number there like the dealership. Prices are probably half of what the Audi dealership offers. Very organized and they will always give you an explanation of any repairs he does or suggests.

With Das Autohaus, you’ve hit the trifecta:
1: Thorough knowledge of all VW products (diesel/​gas, old and new, and Audi/​Bentley too).
2: Honesty.
3: Fair pricing.
Where else can you get all three? I have no idea, which is why I continue to drive an hour each way to Das Autohaus, even though three dealerships and several other alleged VW specialists are closer.

If you have an out-​of-​warranty VW/​Audi, absolutely do not bother with a dealership or a generic repair shop. Just go straight to Das Autohaus.
Had a stereo jack failure and an OBD light. The dealership wanted me to sign off on an exorbitant quote just to look at it. Generic shop couldn’t do the stereo jack and when they diagnosed the light as a glow plug failure, tried to talk me into replacing all of them. Called around for quotes, and not only was Das Autohaus the lowest quote, but their mechanic explained, in sensible terms, why it made no sense to replace all four.
At the end of the repair, they lifted the car and did a walk-​around, showing and giving estimates for all the other lingering issues they noticed. They also threw in the stereo jack recode for free.
Will definitely be back. Even if you don’t live in Spring, you’ll probably save enough to make it worth the trip.

After getting my car serviced elsewhere and getting over charged for subpar parts and service, finding you guys was great. Christian took the time to personally discuss my repairs at length and also some fun Vdub talk. Needless to say my beetle will not be trusted with anyone else but Christian and his staff. I don’t think there’s anything this guy doesn’t know about a German automobile. It’s really fun seeing someone so excited to repair youR Vw. If you are in need of and honest repair shop, look no more! go see Christian at das autohaus. I was quoted 2500.00 dollars in labor at a place in league city texas, I told the guy that I could not afford that, to put my car down. I call das autohaus and spoke with christian, it was 612 labor charges thank you. Feels good to finally get a brake…

I called when my car started making a weird noise and they told me to bring it in immediately. The guy went out of his way to show me the check engine codes and what they meant and why I didn’t need to have any of it fixed because most of it was probably things that the prior owner had already fixed and never reset the computer. He changed out my battery which i didn’t know needed to be done after showing me the low voltage on the voltmeter. He did all of this without me asking and told me what the noise was I brought the car in for originally and that I didn’t need it fixed right now. Extra super nice and didn’t take advantage of me even though he could have.
