So glad we decided to try out their food via delivery. We has ordered from Imperial Valley for over 5 years, but we moved to a different location, and figured we’d give it a try. Hunam is so delicious! Their cream puffs, fresh chicken, spring rolls, egg rolls, fried wings, and meats, and rice were all fresh and yummy. Over the phone, and when having our food delivered, all the staff seem so cheerful and eager to please. My husband loved their chicken fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, beef fried rice, and especially the orange chicken. He and I noticed that they use different types of chicken for every chicken dish we’ve tried so far. At other restaurants, like the one we used to always order from before, they’d use the same type of chicken, but just different sauces, or fried. It’s refreshing to find a new place that uses fresh food, and is tasty. We’ll no longer order from the place we used for over 5 years. Hunam is definitely our go to Chinese delivery place! Oh, and it’s also a better bargain as well, and their delivery time is way better than where we used to order from.

Great deal on lunch specials, honestly you get enough to make it into two meals. Delivery is prompt. Not every entrée is the greatest, but our go to items are the sweet n sour pork and the mongolian beef. The shredded schezuan beef is good, too.

Excellent ingredients, great delivery, and very accommodating for special orders. Yummmmm

12 — that’s how many people can sit in this restaurant if you dine in. I didn’t dine in – I got take out. Upon entering the restaurant, the stuff was extremely friendly. They were patient and very talkative — which made me feel welcome.
The food was pretty good. I had the General Tso’s chicken. It had some pretty good flavor.
One of the things I liked was the speediness. They are quick to serve!

Our absolute favorite Chinese take out in Spring. They’re prices are reasonable and delivery times are typically very short. The food always arrives hot and delicious.
We’ve been customers for a long time, and they will typically add in a free drink or rice dish if we put in a big order.
If you live in the area you’ve got to give them a try.

I swung by one afternoon after having a craving for Chinese food. I consulted Unilocal and this seemed like the best bet for a cheap but tasty lunch combo.
The actual storefront is pretty small and it seems to be primarily a take out and delivery spot. There are only a few basic tables for people who need to eat and go– no waiter service. I called in my to-​go order after glancing at the menu online. The menu is quite long and the lunch menu has about 30 different entrees that come with fried rice, soup, a spring roll, and crab wonton. The lunch combos ranged from about $ 5 – 6.50 or so, so its a really good deal for a huge amount of food.
They said my order would be ready in 15 minutes and the food was ready in time– I came in, paid, and was able to leave with my food right away. Everything was packed securely and my food was still steaming hot after the 15 minute drive back home.
The food itself was tasty and typical of what I’d expect at a cheap takeaway place. My General Tso’s chicken was tender and flavorful, but the fried rice was pretty plain. I ordered hot and sour soup with my meal, but I felt like my soup was a lot more toned-​down in flavor than the same soup at other restaurants. It was still tasty but not as spicy nor tangy as other places’ version of the soup. My mom ordered the chicken with vegetables in a brown sauce and after seeing how many vegetables came with her meal, I’d be more inclined to order something like that instead in the future.
Overall, my meal was delicious and a great value for the price. Its a great place to consider ordering from if you’re a fan of Chinese takeout.

I ordered the generals tso chicken and my wife ordered the orange chicken. Neither of us finished more than a couple of bites. We did not enjoy the meal. The Lo Mein was the only thing we ate.

I been coming in the past months for the special egg drop soup. Pregnancy lady cravings. But we ordered food to be delivered from here and it is really good. Local place so we have to support them! :)
Delivery is fast and so is dine in. The people here are nice and we end up spending more time talking afterwards. Definitely nice to have a nearby Asian restaurant.

I had the orange chicken, and I was enough for at least two people. It was very tasty and freshly made. We ate there, but it only has a few tables inside. It’s mainly set up for pick up and delivery.

Good quality and value. My favorite Chinese carryout spot. You can of course sit and eat there, but the space is pretty tight. They probably have 6 – 8 tables there. Drinks are mainly cans/​bottles of soda and ice tea. No fountain drinks. The combo deals are great. You get a generous portion of your choice of rice (fried or steamed) and your favorite entrée (I recommend General Tso Chicken), a cheese puff and a spring egg roll for less than $ 9 (2015 price). They are also fast in getting the orders ready (10 – 15 minutes). I have not tried their delivery service yet, but it is available for those who prefer it.

Love their general tso’s. Perfectly fried and delicious. I don’t like the the fried rice that comes with it so I always get the white. Tried the lo mein once and wasn’t a fan of the flavor.

Hunam Garden is a fantastic Chinese food restaurant! The food is delicious and priced right. My family loves this place. :)
They carry a few Thai dishes too! The red curry chicken is FABULOUS! It’s perfectly spiced with jalapeño and red pepper and basil. Can’t say enough good about the quality and cost ratio.

Love them! They deliver to my house all the time. I truly appreciate the extras especially when they know it’s a celebration. Great great service!!!

This place is awesome! I was looking for a lunch spot in the area and decided to try it out today. Great service, the interior of the restaurant is clean, and the food was delicious. They even customize orders to make them spicier if you’d like. There are only a few tables in the restaurant so it mostly caters to the takeout/​delivery crowd, but definitely wouldn’t think twice about stopping here for lunch with a few people. I will definitely be ordering from here again soon, and will get the coworkers on board as well!

The quality of the food is poor. The pad Thai taste like over cooked lo mein. The broccoli didn’t taste fresh in the shrimp n broccoli. Was suppose to get steamed rice but it was missing. Not going back.

They deliver!!! I feel like I’m NYC. Great Chinese food, great prices, and did I mention THEY DELIVER!
They have everything your typical Chinese joint has. Probably the best General tsos sauce in Houston. They never get the orders wrong and make the suburbs feel so much cooler. They’re pretty fast too about 20 minutes.

Well on Christmas day we got hungry and lazy. So we went driving around to see what was opened. We passed by here and saw lights and people so we stopped. Well they were actually closed and having a family get together. I felt bad for interrupting but they were super nice and they still took my order. And it was delicious. My new spot. Great customer service.

Bang for the buck this is a 5 star take out Chinese restaurant.
I usually get the shreaded pork in garlic sauce (to go). Portion good size, taste very good. Comes with enogh rice to feed a small Chinese village as well all crab puff and a crispy egg roll and a soup. I get the hot and sour.
My only complaint is the wanton, it is nothing special. Should I want good wanton (or for sit down) I generally go to Oriental Gardens off Champion Forrest/​Louetta. Their wanton is superb!
Service is friendly and very fast, which is great when I roll in with a hangover.

This is your standard strip mall Chinese takeout with two tables, but a notch or two higher in the quality arena. Like i said, It is surprisingly not too cheap and generic like you would assume. The man who answers the phone is very friendly and they are fast fast fast!
My wife loves the lo mein, the shrimp fried rice and the crab puffs.
The pepper steak is pretty good for the price. I assume most things are good for a take out/​delivery place. Very convenient and reasonably priced.
