Hole in the wall with a good taqueria inside. Barbacoa was legit and their tamales are nice sized and spicy. I’ll be back for sure.

Food was decent. We got breakfast tacos. The store looks like it needed upgrades or cleaning though.

The taqueria has delicious food. We get the Barbacoa and tamales on Sundays. Eager to try the rest of the menu…

I think a lot of people have missed out on this hole in the wall as it’s not currently listed on Unilocal though I would venture has been open for quite a long time. It sits in a very non-descript building at the intersection of Kuykendahl and Cypresswood. Inside is a combination of a small grocery store, produce market, butcher, and taqueria. The produce is in pretty limited supply(don’t think they do high volume business), the butcher is much more plentiful including what looks to be delicious seasoned fajita meat and other choices. The taqueria portion is open for(woot!) breakfast tacos and you can get your choice egg and either potato, bacon, or sausage(chorizo) on flour or corn tortillas. I stopped in yesterday to grab a package of tortillas and back again this morning to check out the breakfast tacos. The service is really friendly, the breakfast tacos and accompanying green sauce are all great… their chorizo and egg and bacon and egg were both particularly good. We’ll definitely be back to try their lunch stuff sometime in the near future.
