Leon’s Barber Shop

I really can’t rate the cut because I didn’t get one. I recently relocated to the area and went to a lot of trouble finding a place to get a decent haircut. Drove from almost Conroe to get there and he first acted like he was too busy, to telling me to call back to telling me he wasn’t accepting any new clients. Arrogant attitude and rude. Don’t go to this place. Save your time and gas.

Just a heads you, they CANNOT do fades like some of the reviews on here mention. Like they won’t even try it.
I drove pretty far to check this place out after I read all the reviews and set up my appointment, only to find out that they couldn’t cut the fade I was looking for. And I wasn’t even asking for some crazy «put the Houston Texans logo in my hair» or anything like that. I just wanted a basic fade on the sides and back.
I respect that they were able to straight up tell me they couldn’t do it rather than give me a bad haircut though, which shows they’re more concerned with the service than the $$$

Leon was booked, so I got my hair cut by an old guy named Jimmy. Despite his age, Jimmy gives a good haircut, especially considering my thinning hair. Both guys are friendly and funny. I’ll be going back.

By far the best Barber Shop I have been to. I have a difficult hair to fade and cut right, and I have been around lots for shops, he really know how to do it the first time and be consistent all the time. very happy with his work.

Leon consistently gives me the best haircut I’ve ever had. He takes his time to give you a custom haircut that fits your hair type and I have never left disappointed. If you ask anyone that has ever been to him, all you will hear is «Leon is the best.»

Leon can do it all. The man is a master of his craft: short hair, long hair, fades, tapers, razor edge doesn’t matter he’s got you on point. Attention to detail man. I’ve had many a barber, but Leon is second to none. SUPPORT THIS LOCAL ENTREPRENEUR.

Hands down the best barber! Leon’s customer base has grown exponentially due to his reputation. My advice call in advance and make an appointment with Leon. Trust me you won’t be disappointed.

I’ve been going to Leon for almost 5 years, since before he had his own shop. He is a very nice and professional person who is detail-​oriented and takes his time to make sure your hair cut is exactly how it’s supposed to be.
I plan to go here until he doesn’t cut hair anymore, which hopefully isn’t any time soon.
He takes appointments only, but he has additional hair stylists/​barbers in the shop for flexibility.

I have been sitting in barber chairs since I was a little boy, like others that are reading this review. You just know when you have found a really good one.
From the instant you walk in you are made to feel welcome, first time… many times. Leon is the best at what he does.
Great service with attention to detail. Attentive to specific requests and most of all a fair price.

There’s a new barber named Ismael he gives excellent hair cuts and great customer service. He can do any type of hair cut. He’s great! I really recommend him.

I’ve been going to Leon’s for 3 years and I would never go anywhere else! He is great! But beware, he goes off «Hair time» so he does get behind, but it’s worth it!

I too have been following Leon around for years and now he’s settled into his own shop. While it may be out of the way for me, I’ve never found anyone as meticulous and concerned about my haircuts so I haven’t hesitated to make the drive. He makes me feel right at home and I’ve never had a bad experience. The only downside is that he is very busy and sometimes difficult to get an appointment with but that’s a real testament to his work and customer loyalty. I would recommend him without thinking twice about it. I’m proud to be a loyal customer and very happy to see him doing well on his own. I hope you’ll support him and his shop, too.

Hmm, what can I say about Leon?
I began getting my haircut from Leon back in 2009 back when he was at Supercuts. It wasn’t planned when I first met Leon. I used to make a 30 minute commute to go get a haircut and one day just didn’t feel like doing the drive so I figured I’d go to the local Supercuts and get my haircut. That is when I met Leon. Even though it was right when he got into the hair business, I was satisfied and found my guy.
Since then I have followed Leon from one barber to another until now, where he settled in his own shop.
Leon is a great guy and also gives a great cut. The only downside for me now is that I moved and have to make a 45 minute commute to him, but well worth the drive.
One thing to note is that he only does appointments at the moment so give him a call before coming in.
