The service was atrocious. It is that way every time a group from our church goes there to eat.

The closest thing to authentic Mexican cuisine I have found in The Woodlands. They make their own flour tortillas, all the ingredients are top quality, and the produce fresh. If I had to find one thing to complain about, it would not be the food but the acoustics. It can be really loud in here during the lunch and dinner rush, so that you have to strain to hear the other people sitting at your table. But the food is consistently delicious.

Good food and good service. The carnitas and brisket tacos were great. They serve them on their house made corn tortillas, which are as thick as flour tortillas. Very good. I will say that the queso could have been better. They use too many tomatoes in it. Overall the food was good and it was reasonably priced.

This was a solid meal choice. We got here near closing time and was a little concerned that we would see a lapse in service… on the contray, it was some pretty great service… our server Alan did a great job being attentive and making sure we got what we needed in a timely fashion. The margaritas were pretty good as well… I had the peach margarita(I know) they use fresh peaches and blended them in… ridiculous. The old lady had a Mango margarita and she seemed to enjoy hers. We split the Parrailla San Luis and it was sooo much delicious food… flavorful meats(steak, chicken, pork, sausage, and shrimp) with homemade flour tortillas!

I had chicken flautas and my husband had pork tacos. Neither of us enjoyed our meal. The service wasn’t bad, but the food wasn’t good. The queso has too many tomatoes in it.

Have not actually eaten at this restaurant but definitely never will after what I witnessed this morning. I happened to be delivering to the Sears next door and was parked behind both these businesses. Saw two waiters coming in to work stop at the four dumpsters outside the bldg and rustle through their contents in their waiter’s uniforms and aprons. Then I saw a kitchen worker come out to an older Nissan pickup and remove a large metal pan covered by foil, which looked to be full of food. He took it into the kitchen. Does the health department allow food to be cooked at an offsite location(prob his house) and sold and served at a restaurant? Either way, this place can’t be sanitary. I’m out!

OK. I ate here during the 2015 holiday season. My boss told me to eat at Los Cucos but I think he meant another one. The reviews here are harsh BUT they may be turning a corner. The place was clean, my margarita was.umm.ya know, OK. I had to order a shot of Patron to prime the pump though. OK, I’m an alcoholic, just say it. but I’m much better now. :) Where was I. oh yea, the place is clean, orderly, and the food was satisfying. I dunno, I just didn’t fly out of my chair, however I will say I did have some Mexican items I’ve never had before like the stuffed avocado. Interesting… For me, the wait staff was working hard and very attentive. In fact, the wait staff was better than the food… and the food was good. I give 2 stars just for their hard work. I don’t have kids but here I am shopping in «The Burbs» so you have to expect everyone else in the restaurant has kids. Ya know, that’s probably why«some» people like eating downtown because mommy & daddy could never tolerate a trip that far with the kids for just for dinner. Anyway, I felt like I was stuck in a plane with a screaming kid right behind you. It was hard to have a conversation. I had to «.wait pause.» every time the kid bellowed out a 500 decibel scream. «.here’s a nice plastic bag to play with.» My wife went to the restroom and while she was gone the waiter sat another family behind us. Oh God! 2 More shots of Patron! No, seriously, I just focused on eating until my wife got back. We were sitting side-by-side so she had to sqeeeeze behind me and the people behind us. No dice. Couldn’t fit and she’s tiny. She tapped on me.“Uhemmm…” What? Are you serious? Then I could NOT get out of chair because I couldn’t push it back. The person behind me was right up against my chair. I figured they’d get the hint after a few knocks of my chair. Nope. Now, if my head could swivel around like an owl I would have asked politely for some room. My wife wasn’t helping. Probably thought the whole thing was hilarious. So with great patience I shuttle my chair sideways until I’m free of the table. I give the situation a look. No, No, I don’t need to describe the situation, you can probably grasp the issue. So I walk to the other side of my table and pull it away from the offending table. Da-ya-go. Good Food, Good Service… chamber of horrors dinning area. My advice to management: I’m NOT saying segregate your diners, but be a bit more mindful of where you place people. Don’t just stack people together. If a little old couple comes in for dinner then don’t seat a family nine right next to them. Sakes!

Authentic Tex-mex at a decent price. Have been coming here for years and service is always great and food is consistently good. Menu has all the options that you would expect plus some and there is even a great bar menu with some unique options as well!

My sister was in town and we were craving some Mexican food. Now I’m a fan of Sonoran style Mexican food so Tex-Mex is still a big question mark for me. I don’t see a big difference except like fried avocados which you won’t see on a menu in a Mexican restaurant in Arizona. So far, I’ve yet to find a «favorite» Mexican food restaurant around my hood, but this one surprisingly has crawled it’s way up to the top… which maybe isn’t saying too much either about the«Mexican» food restaurants around here or my palate. But I don’t think it’s the latter. Let me tell you about our last experience. The food took forever! OMG the waiter was super slow at showing up. But the food I have to say was delicious! Shredded beef flautas were winners. Lots of creamy sour cream and avocado. Rice was cooked to perfection. The warm flour tortillas were fabulous. The Tortilla soup? MMMM«delicioso»! Overall for now, the food is good and service is a coin toss. But I’lll be back.

If you want roaches crawling on your seat and toward your face and really slow service then come here. They were crawling on our booth when we sat toward the back and the waitress saw it and did nothing. Just kind of ignored us and took thirty minutes to bring our check. I’m sure the roaches are in the margarita machine also if they are crawling everywhere else. Food was mediocre. I got sick after eating it. I’ve given it a chance and gone several times and each time it was bad.

This is the best Los Cucos, outside of the original in Katy that I’ve been to. Food is awesome and the service is the best. Manager comes and checks on you during your meal. I would give this place 5 stars, but they need to do some remodeling. The restaurant is in a strip center and it could use some TLC. Especially in the back where we sat. Walls and floors need some upkeep. Besides that, if I’m back in the area, I would come back. These guys are great.

The best red and green salsa with chips anywhere in the Houston area. Papasitos is good, theirs is better. The seafood? Always delicious. Try Seafood Al Vapor. Also Gallitos Fish. But I always come back to the Fajitas Cucos. Other people swear by the enchiladas. Bottom line, this place is great! Always great.

They just lost a star for having one of the worst and rudest waiters I’ve ever had there. Didn’t let you finish what you were saying, he’d just walk away. This was several times. If I ever get him again, I am asking for my table to be changed. Jerk is a better word to describe him.

Had a great dinner here. Service was prompt. Food came quickly. It was hot and delicious. The portions were generous. The only reason I gave this place 4 instead of 5 stars is because their salsa was not very good.

Go here occasionally as it one of the only consistent Mexican food around me. The salsa is pretty good as is the green salsa. The fajitas are pretty good and enchiladas are hard to mess up so they are good too. I go here with a group of 7 to 8 once in a while and they usually are quick to serve us, once was pretty bad and making us wait on everything. It’s a good Mexican restaurant and not bad prices.

Enjoyed dinner here but the floor was very slippery. We both had the chimichanga, it was pretty good, just a little too bready. Strong frozen margarita, the large was too much to finish.

If fresh made TexMex excites you then head to this establishment! I ordered the Chicken stuffed Jalapeño for an appetizer. One is plenty large and would be enough for two people. I had ground beef enchiladas with rice and beans. These delicate gems had the perfect mixture of beef, sautéed onions and were essentially grease free. Quite an accomplishment. Can’t wait to bring a group here!

The Good: — They have some unique combo plates mixed in with the usual findings of a Tex-Mex place. — $ 1.99 margaritas on Tuesdays! — Their red salsa is served hot(two thumbs up)! — The verde sauce isn’t watered down, and has a bit of a kick to it. — Attentive servers that keep your drinks full. — The entrees are HUGE, regardless of what you order. The Bad: — The entrees are HUGE, regardless of what you order. Take it home or a lot goes to waste. — The parking is shared with a grocery store, so it is very hard to find a spot near the entrance. The Ugly: — That sound you hear? Yup. Karaōke on $ 1.99 margarita night. Thank goodness it is a busy place and most of the singing is blocked out. Very much enjoy coming here after a long day at work. Heck, I would stop by after a short day of work!
